the straight pipe of the back cylinder needs to go below the gear box because of different pipe lengths not good in this case here you lose engine power
The length of the exhaust pipes needs to be the same. That is why it doesn't sound right and the reason it doesn't run real smooth. Shorten the front pipe and you will be much happier with the performance. The back pressure needs to be the same. Listen closely to a bike that has staggered duels and you will hear the harmony right away.
Love listening to a carbed evo warming up, and settling down.
Would love to see a 'build' video of this beauty !
Very sharp, my only thing I would change would be chrome fishtail upswept exhaust instead of the black. But other then that perfect!
A tradition kept alive by our Sons then. Well done Lads.
The EVO blockhead engine is the best sounding HD engine made.
Yeah, used to have a peanut tank like that. Looked really cool, but got sick and tired of driving from gas station to gas station.
How many miles to empty tank?
@George Lynch Dixon thanks for reply, probably better to leave a bigger tank on but I really like the peanut tanks
@George Lynch Dixon good call thanks for heads up
@George Lynch Dixon regular sporty tank is the way to go i think. The one they have on every sportster since the inception of the bike
Perfect chopper doesn’t exi.... MY gosh i love it! 🙏🙏🙏
old school look!! thanks electric Start...Hand lever Clutch!!
Great Build!! I wouldn't change a thing!! Is the frame completely stock, or did you use an aftermarket front section?
That’s a proper bike!
very sharp!
Cool lookin' bike
Can you still find shocks for this year of EVO? I'm having a hard time finding them.
best thing to do is measure what u currently have and find a shock of the same measurement :)
How did you find something that fits? since in 89' they standardized the shocks. What are you running now?
Capolavoro!!!
Howd you make the fender work with the softail swingarm ?
Most likely replaced the shock with a rigid strut.
@@CharlesWillisBonsai know of any on the market? Ive been looking, tempted to farm it out to a shop.
With the fender mounted like that the passenger would go flying if you hit a bump.
No kick?
Bella maquina
What exhaust is that? Paughco?

those pipes sound a bit tinny....
