Vocoder cover of the solo from "Fragments of Time" by Daft Punk ft. Todd Edwards.
I just wanted to have fun trying to do the solo then I thought it would be nice to share it so there you go.
I also tried to experiment visual things with different effects, I thought it was cool.
Better to listen with headphones.

True ! That's why I used the Talkbox preset on the Boss VO-1 vocoder , that I enhanced to match the original

haha well actually there's no instrumental, I just take the parts of the original where there's no vocals and I just looped that, that's just it sorry

Ok so I answer you 10 months later sorry
To be honest it's hard to get something out of the VO-1, the one that I use are the Vintage one and mostly the Talk Box one since it's the clearer (even if it's sad there's this distortion effect impossible to remove). And then I apply a lot of effect, as I said in the description, to make it sounds nicer, and more melodious.
I don't really touch to the Tone and Color knobs, I usually leave them in the middle position.
