Great video that helps make the idea less abstract! Keep up these 1st person views! Do you have this video in Spanish? 🤞

Thank Felix, I've always liked the idea of hex, but couldn't really imagine how cutters would get open if they were just standing in formation. But this video shows how hex looks in a game situation. Have you noticed that there are fewer really hard cuts when playing hex? Or are the cuts the same, but there's just less distance to run to get the disc?

Yes - tiredness in hex tends to come after being in possession of the disc and getting the return pass 4-5 times in a row, rather than making hard cuts over long distances. The moves needed to get the disc in your hands are more dependant upon timing and awareness, than speed or agility.

you can see the defense playing really good zones but theres just so much flow that it doesn't matter

What if your playing with 5 players? Is there an alternative hex offense for 5?

When playing with 5 players focus more on the hex movement decision tree principles (take the open pass, look for the return pass, maintain the flow, move the disc quickly ) instead of thinking about shape. Many different shape setups will work just fine.
