Clear cut and the nuances well postulated. The three gens simply put, from a best bike, to an okay bike again to a best package overall, KTM has left no stone unturned with this bad boy. Looks butch, class and means business and still retaining the single cylinder crown like a boss. Well done KTM, well done.
That's the dream bike for anyone looking for a budget middle weight naked sport. So delighted that KTM gave it a much needed update. Its on my shopping list. Hoping to get it soon🤞🤞
I think the big front tank extension will serve a great purpose in deflecting wind away from the knees at high speeds. Haven't seen the bike in metal but I guess the riders knees will be tucked in well. Also, on nakeds and Advs the wind hitting knees and thighs rise up to hit your helmet and may cause buffeting. So it may prevent that as well. Gotta ride this bike soon. Cheers!
Ur right about the front tank extensions ... ktm has overdone it in 390 it's well balanced in the 250... The 390's front tyre looks thinner than it is due to that overly wide front
The banana swing arm and horizontal monoshock allows the bike to reduce seat height while increasing wheel travel and increasing ground clearance. The new 2025 Adventure is going to be much more comfortable than the current one.
My favourite motorcycle reviewer. Since my school days I've followed you and finally getting my 1st bike and it feels surreal that the influence this channel and Rishad had on me 💜
It's soo good to see Indians finally shifting from boring 125 - 150cc commuters to bigger capacity bikes ❤ This year, the mid capacity bikes are absolutely on fire 🔥

They took the last gen’s perfect designing. Looked at it for quite a while.. threw it in the trash can and said… we are going to make something horrendous today! This is what this is!
Just 3 things to be highlighted 1. Rim should have been black instead of Orange 2. Given cruise control which is missing in Indian Variant 3. Like the TVS RTR should have given nice faring for the underbelly guard which should Have looked way more attractive
Cruise control is pointless here in India. I barely manage to use it for a few seconds before I have to brake again. They did the right thing by dropping it
Great review. I appreciate someone who know their stuff. Better review than all the supposed expert journalism gurus. I've been riding for 51 years, all types of bikes. So I am impressed. Look forward to your next review.👍👍👍
KTM 390 The Super Duke-inspired look has brought in larger, sharper tank extensions and an oddball headlight design. To be frank, it does look a good deal better in the flesh look,
KTM Duke390 launched with underbelly exhaust in India again that is awesome and the sound I love the underbelly sound of the 1st gen Duke 200 and 390 this is better now compared to gen2 390 which sounded like a scooter or a normal motorcycle…
Bajaj with KTMs: Load it to the brim with electronics and features Bajaj with Pulsar and Triumph: It's all about pure old class motorcycling; even updating the engine is a betrayal.

Thanks for comparing it to the Speed 400. I was really curious about the low-mid range. Will pick up Speed 400 over this. But this is really the triple digit performance king!
@@West2WesternGhats I'd be riding 60% or more in Hills and other slow roads because I'm from Uttrakhand So driving would be more in low-mid range. I'd be hitting triple digits and over 6000rpm lesser times. And Speed 400 will deliver more of it's torque in that range and it's also a bit smoother.
It drastically needs an exhaust to unleash a bit more bass. The old duke had a little silencer in the end of the can that you could core drill out to make it sound better for cheap/free. Is there anything you can do to this or you have to buy a new can?
They should've provided the gen 2 liquid metal like paint scheme on this design! Orange is just tooo polarizing! Also why do all the reviewers have the orange one only? No one reviewed the Atlantic blue one?

Hi, I know this is the best single cylinder bike. I am fan boy of 2-4 cylinder bikes due to exhaust, my usage is mainly on city. Which would you suggest between speed 400 vs duke390 vs SRK400
If you ride more in the city below three digits and 6k revs go for speed 400 as he said it's about low to mid range performance but if you like to rev it out then Duke 390
@@unni.m1959 The early generation Pulsars had beautiful designs. But then Bajaj destroyed the designs of the NS 200 series with literally the worst color choices possible. I can make '390' with a 150 cc bike and two planks of plywood.
It makes a world of difference when you go at speeds above 100 kmph. It's a really good aerodynamic design

Sad to see at 3.1 lakhs, chapris cannot afford this bike anymore 😢
They'll find a way, they always do.

Better for real riding enthusiasts 😂
But chapris have 125 duke, its becoz of the chapris ive sold my first gen duke 390,bought in the year 2013
I love the different orange shade of Duke 250. It's not flashy. White and Matt Orange looks droolworthy ❤

Which is a better buy for 3.75L: KTM Duke 390 or INT 650?
Duke if you'll actually ride the bike hard.
650 if you want to look cool and cruise at a decent pace, but not fast
Love it, waiting for adv ktm

I liked the side exhausts, which gave it a better sound.
90% of owners wont hit the track so its pretty good
4k.. finally..
But the video looks upscaled..🧐
Which is better Apache RTR / Triumph Speed / Duke 399
RTR has horrible throttle lag and rev hang. That is a huge deal breaker
* it is 44.23 hp as mentioned in the website. Not 46hp
33kw=44.23hp
When can we see the comparison between tvs and ktm
Need comparison on Gen 3 390 duke, TVS RTR 310
Reviewers should stop using race track as benchmark for user point of view, 99% users ride it on everyday roads not on track
I love electric Orange. Gives Fanta vibes😅🧡
Why no one is talkin about the absence of knuckle guards ?
Because knuckle guards merged with the giant planks at either side 💀
Wish ktm will make a dirt oriented dualsport bike with this engine like the ktm 450Excf....
Does it get backlight on swtches?
Why ktm? Why the orange seat?
But the underbelly exhaust is nice.

Is it faster than Gen1?
Ktms are great performance machines but i just hate the sound They make, they lack the low end sound, it’s sharp and muddy.
