Great video, I just bought a Patrol, although since I live in Norway where we are so envoirmental friendly and all that crap it's just the 2.8 liter. But it's fine machine non the less.
haha there is one it is just further up but i totally agree i would have shat myself if there was not a blanket on it to i would have stopped the winching procedure and put one on there !!!!
Both are good off-road machines it just depends. On what you plan on doing indie this sort of driving a patrol is better and it is smaller and lighter but not matter what one you get you will have to modify it
there are multiple diesels we have 2.8 turbo intercooled 6 3.0 Turbo intercooled 4 4.2 na/ turbo/ turbo intercooled and petrols we have 4.5 na 6 4.5 turbo 6 and 4.8 na 6 hope this helps
yeah sorry was just trying to find out which gu was running what, but seemed to be alot of different ones on the vid haha! looking at buying the zd30, but i cant find many exhaust videos of them. just wanna hear what they sound like

Incorrect some models come with a factory diff lock in the rear But most come with only a factory rear lsd Most of us 4wdrivers will invest in an aftermarket air locker like the Tjm pro locker
As I have commented on other posts Our patrol was suffering motor and clutch problems on this trip We only had the option to spin wheels and because of the motor problems we were lacking power so we had to keep the revs up to stop the car stalling But you sound like an expert and know the circumstances on this trip don't you ...
Okay, now I see what was happening. I haven't really read other comments. And the reason why I said all that is because the country where I am originally from, has very low percentage of good surface for driving, so most of people know how to drive in a bad conditions. The country is Ukraine. By the way, Merry Christmas!!!

the diff lock are a key to get were you wont to go, with out winching :-)
