I wish that our reporters would do more hardcore interviews with all the top contenders for President in in our country. Forcing them to explain their policies holding their feet to the fire until they answer these important questions

Ermm, she said four times or more that Roe v Wade should be locked into law. How many times did Margaret ask the same question and not listen to the answer. 🙄

Because it is a non-answer. Roe v. Wade is too vague and uses “viability” which is not medically defined.

@@tonimika7900 These people will never admit it but a large portion support it up until birth and they won't say it out loud because it sounds horrible because it is. Just look at anytime and prominent democrat is asked on specifics or how many weeks. None ever answer the question. Look up congressional hearings where several people testified none answered yes or no if they supported it up until birth. Look at Ted Lieu who defended a woman who was at the end of her pregnancy likely had a live baby then murdered the baby and burned and buried the remains and got 90 days in jail. Even when he got community noted he still defended it even though the baby was entirely viable. Many prominent democrats publicly said it was an outrage she got 90 days for "having an abortion" when she was actually charged with desecrating remains. Look up abortion rights rallies and listen to testimonies. A very significant amount want it up until birth but they won't utter it out loud.
@@tonimika7900 Not a non answer. She said put it back to conditions set forth in Roe v Wade. Which put the decision back in the hands of the woman and her doctor, which is where it should be.
Also weird how no matter how much she was pressed, she didn't answer what she believes regarding a cutoff term range.

I love her but I wish she would’ve answered the timeline question for when access should be limited - and to go further in detail of what those previous protections were!
She answered clearly. Restore Roe. If you knew Roe's policy, then you'd have your answer, which is 'Viability'. If you know viability, then you'd know it varies woman to woman, fetus to fetus. It's around 24 weeks, but for some it's 26 weeks. Making a hard line when each case of pregnancy has differing timelines and complications would only serve to hurt women. Assuming you are a man, so I'd encourage you to dive deep into scientific research to understand just how complicated it is. I think you'd find that pregnancy is too complicated to legislate, especially when one half of the population is defining that legislation for the other half of the population (by that I mean men making decisions for women's bodies).
@@macymoore6263 okay, you viability which has a ranged and she was asked about a particular cutoff, e.g. like graham’s 15-week ban. She could’ve just said SPECIFICALLY I’d like to go back to 20-24 wks or whatever that is but she kept saying Roe’s policy like she couldn’t elaborate what the policy was. Further, policy isn’t law and law needs to be specific, and measurable.

But the large majority of women and the overall population do not think Dobbs was the right decision. It was just another example of minority rule.

Whose morals? Yours? Who made you the morality judge of another person? Any delivery of a baby at or after 34 weeks of gestation is a birth, sometimes sooner depending on complications, health of the zygote/ fetus and the mother. There's no such thing as abortion after 34 weeks gestation. A woman should have control of her reproduction decisions. There's no room for you and your moral control in the doctors ' office, her bedroom or anywhere she and her partner may be. Once you accept that reality you can feel a lifting of the weight of the world off your brain. Let it go! Let people live their life as they choose. Mind your own business please.

Her consultants need to do a better job, nodding with a goofy smile when someone asks "why are they attacking you" is not a response. She needs to be less aloof and address that directly. At least when Hillary was attacked she would make a point of saying "it's because they know I will fight them on XYZ", she owned being controversial and she would fight back. Not like Hillary was the best model, but at least she had a personality. Kamala is just ignoring it, maybe like trying to take the high road I guess? And she's well rehearsed on policy in this interview but that will not be enough, politicians have to convince people that they are likable in order to be successful.
