My dad bought me this album for my 17th birthday , in the chatham woolworths, Ive still got it 30 years later. It is a 12" double album with a book inside and the artwork is stunning.
It is now avialable on cd, i dont doubt the sound quality is better but i cant believe having the book reduced in size can beat the 12x12 pictures of the original.

I have the vinyl of this album and I would like to say it's the most incredible album cover and enclosed booklet I've ever come across. Mind boggling.

I still have the album and book - but nothing to play it on nowadays. Great memories.

This is the album of my childhood- though I'm only young, but I still love listening to it- it brings back so many memorys and Patrick Woodroffe himself is my insperation to go into Art and animateing, I just hope he is ok :)

I got an email about him saying positive things about my own art ^_^. And he was the artist that inspired me to do art, because I was so utterly enthralled by this album, with his art in the book, when I was a little'n.
Listening to the music on the EP, looking at the amazing art, and that was my course set for life.

I found the LP in the end of 1979 and I had much luck cause the chief of the LP shop doesen't know the price of the double LP. I got it for a very good price. Cause I have all Greenslade LP's we heard the Pentateuch every week after playing with our own group and had a look to all pictures...it was our relaxe trip. Greenslade was a great group but I'd never enough time to see them live.

this was my preferred "motorway driving music"... encouraged lead-foot and made the whole driving experience an adventure [for other road users as well as myself] :-)

My daughter has got my copy now, she's a vinyl freak. I'm a bit more up to date and got myself a digital copy.Hey, it's electronic music, made for digital!

This bring back memories. In the early days of electronic music it was in very short supply. Pentateuch was one of those albums that was a must have for collectors.

Went to a concert here in Little Rock in 1970 before I left for RVN (RebublicVietNam) Training. The Group was "YES", Todd Rungren, Sounds a lot like Him? Don't know, just bout 40 years behind the times? Fill Me In?

i HAVE THE SAME FEELING ABOUT CD AND OLD FASHION LP'S BUT THE STORY INSIDE TO ME IS BIGGER THAN THE MUSIC AND SEVERAL YEARS AFTER HAVING READ IT. I CAN COMPARE W/ THE URANTIA BOOK TEACHINGS SOMEHOW.

A great album, even without the art, but it needs playing on a good system.
