  • We headed north of Copenhagen to the city of Helsingør in Northern Denmark. It was a long hard travel day with the kids - we want to share the reality of this travel experience with you. It's not always easy, but it is worth it! We went to the beach on the north Coast of Denmark and it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel we stayed at is Marienlyst Strandhotel, and we LOVED it!

    Hygge:
A complete absence of anything annoying or emotionally overwhelming; taking pleasure from the presence of gentle, soothing things.

Embrace it, and have a less stressful life. 😊❤️🇩🇰

There are red buttons in the bus, just press a button and the bus will stop at next stop.

I hope your little guy wasn't concussed. I have walked into a glass door at work once, and it hurts! I guess we have cleaning people in Denmark who can be and probably are proud of their work.
One thing though: Northern Zealand (Sjælland) is _not_ Northern Denmark. You have to go to Jutland for that. (Or Greenland or the Faeroe Islands if you include the entire Danish Realm.)

Thank you so much for your concern! He was okay. The window cleaners are certainly next level in Denmark.
