As someone who used to use a hammock instead of a bed, you absolutely don't want to do that! The literal rule of thumb is; If you hold your arm out, point your index finger sideways and stick your thumb up, you want the angle of the straps to go from your finger tip to thumb tip. Then to stop the croissant effect, you lay diagonally and adjust yourself until until you're flat. I still miss sleeping in that ol thing.
@@edbrown9841 Yes, sleeping diagonally is a solution to drooping, however i like to turn in my sleep, and this will eventually result in me slowly drifting back to the center of the hammock and ending like a proverbial croissant by the morning. Another benefit of setting it up tight and sleeping straight is that i can wrap the hammock around me and this completely shields me from mosquitos and other bugs during the night. For me diagonal is ok for afternoon nap, but for a proper night sleep i set it straight and cocoon myself into the hammock.

My friends & I actually done a stealth camp on a roundabout days before this was released and it went perfectly. This reminds me of a time when i was working on a golf course and often we would work through lunch break. I think a pretty nice vibe would be like, riding a motorcycle there (and bringing it into the roundabout with you) and just setting up camp for a few days.
