Thanks for the video. How was the sargassum and sea grass? Was the sea bottom sandy or squishy? Was the roped area at least 5 feet deep and clear? Thank you!
The seaweed was the worst part of the beach experience, the dump trucks were on site first thing in the morning scooping the stuff up before it gets hot and stinky and in most parts of the beach, the water was very murky and few people were in the water because of that, sargassum has been a huge problem the past 10 years or so and unfortunately this coastline has been affected. The roped area was 5 feet and more, only when snorkelling close to the reef area did we experience clear water conditions.
Hi. Thanks for the vid. Trying to decide where to go for our all-inclusive, end of Feb 2024. Few questions if you please....Is there still on-going construction? The balconies see quite tight to your neighbors, do you find this an issue, noise for example if you want to have a drink at night there and everyone can hear your conversation? Are the restaurants busy, as in is there a possibility we can't get in as they are booked or full? Thanks!
Hi Mike, there is some construction going on however it’s on the french/dutch side and we were told it would be done around April/may, balconies are angled and offer privacy however if your neighbours happen to be loud you will definitely hear them. Most of the time people are out and about and it wasn’t really an issue for us. Restaurants are nicely spread out and not crowded at all, we never had issues booking or finding a table even without booking in advance. This sandals in terms of service, cleanliness and amenities like snorkelling, scuba, bars, etc was exceptional.
Well done! I feel like I was there vacationing 💯
