Nice review. Team Corally are killing it. I would recommend put on better battery straps, they've always been an issue. And maybe better shock standoffs. ADU Racing has titanium ones that hold up great. These trucks require the least hopup parts to be bulletproof out of the box. But the battery straps gotta go, especially running a 2.3 pound 8200 SMC like i do, but even your smaller batteries probably will break the straps sooner than later. A $5 40mm server fan and the 2 above upgrades, and you're good to go. I almost got the Kraton EXB but then i found the Kagama. I have yet to break anything except a rear camber link (2 for $8, who gives a f***?) I swapped the battery straps day one, before they could break, because I don't need road rash on my lipo.
Looks like a fun one. Turning the punch up looked like it helped out a lot to make it more fun. A pinion change and I think it will really liven up some more! Thanks for taking it out and tumbling it around. I may stick this on my Christmas list!
@UDRC85 get a fan for the motor because mine got crazy hot on bigger pinion, and run 4s HV batteries if your staying on 4s set up and it should do the 50mph.
@@UDRC85definitely get a motor fan. Make your own 40mm one from a server fan, solder on your own receiver plug. Better and cheaper than those overpriced "pro" fans. East Tactics and Do RC have videos showing you how. Taught myself to solder just for that fan project, bought an iron and it was STILL a third of the price of those expensive Game Changer fans, and they're the same damn thing. On 6s my motor stays under 200 degrees unless it's 95+ outside, which is unlikely this time of year. 😂 But yeah, the motor gets hot even on stock gearing, but my 6s is running well above the Max 8 recommended maximum weight limit. I think I'm around 16 pounds with a 2.3 pound lipo. Damn belted Badlands and aluminum hex inserts for the Badlands.
The Kagama 6s had a 13 tooth pinion stock and it was overgeared, at least for 6s. ESC regularly hit 200 degrees and motor 205 (with a fan) Maybe if you live in Alaska you'll be fine, but I had to gear down to 11t in order to be able to drive at 75%-100% throttle for the whole run.

Nice I appreciate the info. I’ll look into the upgrades.

@@AddamsPlayground definitely sure lol. It definitely was tumbling
I’m about to buy this or the ARRMA kraton 4s 2.5. As I’m fairly new to the hobby what’s your pick under 500$
Wow that is slow for a 4s, my sketer needed upgrading to 6s to make it any fun and now its a beast.
@@shanehunter4178 I’m changing the pinion gear out. Hopefully it can do 50mph.

@ wow. Great to know. Did you do the 15 or 17 thooth pinion.

👍
Undergeared don‘t understand why it doesn‘t come with 15tooth installed
@@rapfan97 I definitely plan on changing the gear.
I think is coming with 13t pinion

Better this than the opposite.
