The lower damper mounting point on the suspension arm is primarily used to adjust the lever arm, not to raise or lower the car. Moving the mounting point closer to the vehicle’s center increases the lever arm, making the damper respond more sensitively to smaller bumps. Moving it farther outward reduces the lever arm, making the damper less sensitive and providing a stiffer response. Closer to the center (inner point): Longer lever arm: The damper is more responsive to small bumps and provides better sensitivity. Suitable for rougher terrain or tracks where traction and smooth damping are important. Farther outward (outer point): Shorter lever arm: The damper is less sensitive and feels stiffer, giving a more direct response. Ideal for smooth, fast tracks where precision is key. On asphalt, a shorter lever arm (outer mounting point) is generally better, as it provides the stiffer and more responsive handling required for high-speed performance on smooth surfaces.

I've done a few conversions. Wonder how those Kyosho gears hold up to brushless power as compared to gas which puts less torque on the gears and transmission.

Putting 2.8 Proline Trenchers on my Slash 4X4 kinda did the same thing 😆🤣, the wider tires actually did make it less prone to rollovers, and it looks badass too
