Tbh I want to see Flood/Edge of Shadow become a singular skill for the sake of reducing button bloat, and because they practically function the same but for different scenarios. In a way, Shadowbringer looks pretty similar in to Flood as is, so why not just make the former into Edge/Flood but combined with the same 10% damage increase and the potency degradation on multiple enemies. Also, it would be nice if Salt and Earth actually did something more, like be a life stealing pool or increase defense while in the proximity, idk.

The one thing I'm extremely happy with is how they managed to add to the WAR without messing up controller players. I play with controller and my setup is FILLED completely. I'm happy that the buttons that transform are buttons that i normally use on my rotations, so it feels natural.
I dont do that outside of a very optimized setting. it requires a lot of precision and delaying IR, which i will never do, unless i wont miss an activation.
I actually quite like that you need to hit those 3 Fell Cleaves within 15 seconds exactly because it makes the burst window slightly more restrictive and you can't just unga bunga in whatever order as you could in Endwalker.
Coming Savage Tier, Meta Tank comb GNB/WAR. That will not change unless maybe DRK and PLD both get a potency increase that will match WAR and especially GNB damage output,. And even if Pld and DRK going to deal the same dmg as WAR on savage release, I think ppl will still play War over the others, since it’s just more comfy to play and obviously cause Man mode. DRK and PLD fighting a lost Fight for the first tier which is sad.
A gauge for Storm's Eye sure would be nice. As a replacement, I split my own buffs from "other" and increased the size in the HUD layout. I only learned that this is possible pretty late, which is why I point out what's probably obvious to most.
I wish you didn't need skill speed to get 4 gcds inside Bloodwhetting. Or they can change the vampire portion of it to be 4 stacks of gcds with a 9s cooldown (the actual mit durations remain unchanged).

I'm so convinced that every member of the development team plays a WAR or is a tank main, because WAR always seems to be the top pick when it comes to tanking in any content.
@@woodenmetal2977 i think WAR comes second in dmg amongst the tanks but its sheer survivability just cant be matched. As a healer, you can literally not need to heal a competent WAR in dungeon content above level 80.
Paladin needs potency buffs... It has the worst self heals that are locked to rotation, causing a lot of overhealing, and wings are very situational and crappy because it locks you in place
@jedahaw depends on how much skillspeed you want. I used to favor a faster gcd when you needed to fight for uptime but through EW I started to favor slower because uptime is pretty much 100%
One thing that doesn't make sense. All of these jobs get new animations for their attacks. Tanks haven't been updated at all for attack animations. Their basic combo is still the same animations since release of each tank and it's annoying
My biggest issue with Primal Wrath is I hate that it transforms from Inner Release, I get they did this to combat button blots but for me as a controller player I almost always map buff abilities to the dpad so i can hit them quick and even if i have to hit them on the go it isn't as awkward. since it transforms into an attack that i need to weave makes it not as smooth rotation-ally for me. I wish i could map it separately from inner release but I doubt that would solve how i feel about it.

TBN, Dark Mind, Dark Missionary, OBLATION, ENHANCED UNMEND, Disesteem with 800 potency and not even a guaranteed crit/dh, took away plunge, took away 2 charges of Blood Weapon so less mp, less blood gauge, abyssal drain still a complete garbage, abyssal drain STILL SHARING CD with Carve and Spit, Shadowstride SUCKS as a gap closer and the only healing that we got is under a 2 whole ass minutes CD - Rampart enhance trait is useless and a joke for DRK, already tried abyssal drain and soul eater with and without it, makes no fucking difference....but you wanna know the worst part? watching all these motherfuckers praising the class as soon as 7.01 drops and some skills get a 10~30 potency dmg buff, fuck this... ...but hey, DRK is fine in raids! i'm full of this shit, gonna level the 3 other tanks and forget this pathetic excuse of a job.
It made sense when War did less dps so there was a tradeoff to having the best invuln, partywide and ridiculous sustain. They should just nerf it's dps by a good 8% or something.

All you do is use the 690 boots and 700 choker*. If you want to week 1 with crafted you will probably have to use sks because crafted gear.

Use the AOE combo to get your Surging Tempest, it's just 2 actions. Then do the rotation.
There's actually 2 extra gcds every 2min window if you smuggle primal ruination from ur 1min into 2min
Yes 1 extra gdc per min as I said. Trying to carry over PR into two min buffs is a mistake a vast majority of time
