Love the new range with the balconies and new layout. Targa is less expensive than expected (although I'm firmly in the older used price range) and the the Squadron, as ever, is just the dogs bollox.
Nice to see them side by side, its hard to compare them when they are away from each other, both are beautiful boats. Nice video and great socks. Thank you.
Luverly boats! The sock couch on the 58 is enormious, it must be for knee length socks. My better half says the Gunpowder gin is the dogs jewelery. Its a good choice for a good boat, as its distilled in the town of Drumshambo on the River Shannon. I'm more of a Scotch & Irish lolly water man myself. Best drunk raw, no dainty ice or fizzy stuff.
Not sure which is more polarizing; The New 58' or those bloody socks of yours? 😉 Keep up the great Vid's and socks! (BTW. thank god I'm red-green colour blind! ha-ha)
Like floating jewelry, A serious Q, James: When we sailed over from the States, we spent 2 years in England and parts of two summers in the Balearics. It didn't seem we saw many marina berths that would be able to accommodate fold-out balconies. What was the thinking at e.g. Fairline about that, as the designs were developed? Or has my memory faded?
Them Squadron 58's have been the best class of boat on the water since 2005 in my opinion and I'm the chairman of the 58' appreciation society BUT ..that Targa ..better not show my Mrs cus it's very nice ..and ...it's much cheaper 🙆😁👍🏴
58 has fallen into the "galley too big" trap. the galley and sideboard occupy more area than does the saloon. and it is not a proper saloon. it is a dining table with an adjustable table. the 40 much better allocates an appropriate amount of space to the galley.
The 58 wow what a beautiful boat the fit and finish is second to none it makes me proud to be British 🇬🇧
All handmade - I agree with you !

True 🥳
That 58 looks a lot of boat for the money! Im impressed
Stunning boat
was that balcony move a Romeo and Juliet moment.... I really didn't want you to fall in James 😂🤣
Can you imagine 😂

Crikey sounds powerful !
I see what you mean about the space on the 40.
Hope the BMW is going well 😉
Yes lots of space. Yes Beemer on 15k miles now 🤩
Very nice boats, nice to see ya, been a while, hope you do the 68 soon, that will be nice to see.
Just started the video - I sure hope neither has an ICE MAKER on board! I know how it drives you nuts.
They both do 😂
Best socks ever.....😂
Sir, I would love to hear your Top 5 boats!! Great video and very nice socks by the way 😊
Thank you 🙏
Hi James. Lovely boats....... beautiful design and finish. The Harley dealer did tell you that motorbikes don't float didn't he???
Cheers S :)
Yes and they only go in straight lines 🤩

😂
The 58 needs a side door, about time British builders took notice of the foreign competition. Also has the 58 got the same non slapping hull as the 68.
On the hulls - I need to check . I think it has the same characteristics
those socks 😂👌
Great boats, shite socks but they do go with the trainers! I would like to know the other 3 in “the top 5”. Thanks for the vid!!
The Princess S65/ S66 is another in the top 5 !
Summer holiday 2024 video hopefully on the cards!?

You use the balconies at anchor to make more space 🍻
😮😮❤❤

Not many people cook onboard anymore so I thought the galley was small/ perfect
