- Ohio State could use its defensive line in a much different way when the Buckeyes take on Oregon for a second time.
Plus, what are grateful for when it comes to covering this year's Ohio State football team?

Go Buckeyes if we continue to spread the ball around and rotate more we'll WIN THE NATTY STILL GOT A LOT OF WORK TO DO BUT WE CAN DO IT!❤ 41-24 Bucks Win!
Thank you so much for all the holiday content 🎄
GO BUCKS 😤💯
I have already mentioned on several other podcast that if the Dline plays the way they did against Tenn. by getting those big paws up when they don’t get to duck QB and bat/deflect those pass attempts it will be huge. Getting pressure on him but containing with good fundamental open field tackling. He isn’t as accurate on the run from pocket.
Watch the kid play in high school in Hawaii let him sit back he will pick you apart get pressure on him his accuracy went down quite a bit. Not a really good scrambling passer lol.
I agree with Bill, The Notebook is the best post game content by far.
BUCKEYES AGAINST THE 🌍🌏. Let’s go! 🌹 🌹 🥀 🥀 so beautiful! Bucks Roll 42-20. O-H. SLIVER BULLETS STAY ON 🔥🔥🔥🔥 OFFENSE STAY ON SCHEDULE! GO BUCKS! 🌰🌰🌰🌰⭕️⭕️⭕️⭕️
You got this Coach Day! Kick Oregon’s ass!
I have no idea who "should" win. Just let it all hang out. Play smart, with emotion, for your brothers on the team and for the coaches who had faith in you. Enjoy each moment. As a fan, I just hope for the best for these guys--they gave more than any team in OSU history.
Great show guys…any word on the NOA response from TCUN ?
The two things that killed us in the first Oregon game were the lack of preparation and execution. At least now we know what we're up against. Last week, we saw the preparation, execution, and willpower to win, and this is the winning formula from here on out.
Winter is HERE and ain't finished. Ducks are on ice💯
One thing for certain and two things for sure - not only did OSU get better since the 1st meeting in 2024 >>> but Oregon did also!
Wow, that was profound.
Oregon compared to last meeting:
Stronger O-line
Stronger D-line
Stronger TEs
Healthy team.
Rested
Lots of prep time
Lanning said many players are breaking their personal records in weight room.
Oregon has far out performed season expectations and this was a rebuild year, lost a lot of great players. No pressure.
Lanning is aggressive as hell and has already won the season at Oregon.
He will have his Missouri boot on Day's neck early in this game and day will blow a nut.
Ohio State compared to last meeting:
Weaker O-line, injuries.
Stronger D-line
Less rest and prep time, could be good or bad.
Your coach and team must win this game or the season is a failure.
Day chokes in big games.
Oregon advantage:
QB, O-line, special teams
OSU advantage:
D-line
RBs
Wash:
Receivers
DBs
Gabriel will have good protection like last time, which will be a big problem for OSU.
Oregon can go long ball or dink and dunk.
We'll see is OSU can do the same as Howard will be pressured.
It's going to be a great game.
Go Ducks!
Go BUCKS! 🅾🌰🏈
Glad you admitted it was Tuesday filming. Thought Bill was wearing same clothes for 3 days, lol. I think we dont play as well at noon. I know its crazy but why not move THE GAME to 3:30 or 8:00?
Unfortunately, Ohio State's biggest roadblock to winning will be Ryan Day.
Austin! Let it fcking go! Wacko!!!
Exactly! Quit talking about SCUM and Nattys. Just the next game. I think the media is more obsessed over the loss than the players/fans.
Wow it's crazy that they can't let those four losses to Michigan go it's constantly in their mind they talk about it incidentally did it really hurt them that bad.
13:37 then stop bringing it up, guys 🙄
Ward let. The game go if you want to talk
About it call Herbstriet
A mobile QB who can throw is how you beat OSU defense
Go bucks! 2024 natty !
Ohio state must not try a field goal between 30 and 39 yard.

Oregon fans are out in full force with the smack talk
🌹!!!!! #GoBucks
I feel cheated this wasn't recorded on christmas
Three possibilities:
A. The defense was never broken, it just played a playoff offense, and playoff offenses almost always score points, even against top defenses (my suspicion)
B. The defense has glaring issues, they just haven't played anyone outside of oregon that is talented enough to expose them (think this is also partly true)
C. The defense did have glaring issues, but has fixed them since.
It will be a great game... OL, DL, and Turnover battle will decide thisb
I don’t know that I would characterize problems that can only be exposed by elite talent as glaring problems.
Glaring problems are prominent because they’re exposed frequently (the 2018 team had glaring problems on defense).
I think A is partly true, B less so but imperfections do exist, and C is true partly.
Defense definitely not perfect, but their vanilla scheme bit them in the A against Oregon in October.
If yall noticed the first game against Oregon the deep ball we was getting beat on was a scheme problem I believe Jim saw on tape that Oregon don’t go deep so they was sitting on the short stuff this game will be different plus Oregon defense really couldn’t stop Ohio if it wasn’t for the offside kick and fumble we gave up Ohio would’ve won by double digits
If they can't beat Oregon, then nobody else in the field will either.
Georgia
@@Jleed989What about your QB injury?
@@Jleed989 good luck with the QB
It's mot that hard to figure out the 11/30 game...Day has a Marty McFly complex...every time he is called soft (chicken) he looses his mind and falls into a foolish trap of playing bully ball when they are a high performance F-15 not a tank...
No I don't have to change how I feel about Michigan and I'm not going to.
JJ smith is more of a generational talent than Cooper Flagg, different sports i know, but my point still stands…
Austin needs to learn to let shit go. Just with the over analyzing
Luke Montgomery HAS to start. I will be irate if he is not starting on the o line. Every single positive run play and most positive pass plays he was in.
If Dillon Gabriel 's jersey after the game is shredded to pieces and barely hanging on by threads and looks like it was a rough day in trench warfare then the Buckeyes win and win big!
Birch and Mateo will eat your QB at the Rose Bowl.
Keys to beating Oregon:
1. Run the Damn Ball
2. Get some pressure on Gabriel
3. Make FGs
That's the wrong gameplan..they gotta keep Oregon's defense off balance by pre snap motions hitting the rb's in the flats stretching the field with Jj and running counters. They have to setup the run with the pass..and score td' a in the Red zone not Field goals
You are not getting pressure on Gabriel similar to the last Oregon game and that's a problem for Ohio State.
Oregon will have Burch, their best defensive player and Holden who is a good receiver back. Your O-line should be weaker from injuries so Oregon's D should be more successful.
Ohio State has better players overall but Oregon is a better team so I believe Oregon beats you for a third time and Oregon and Michigan will continue to be a problem for you guys.
Go Ducks and our secondary will not be off your receivers so far like sucky Tennessee.
CONCERN: Knowles, trying to limit Oregon big plays like previous game installs ‘bend don’t break’ strategy and Oregon says fine, and dinks & dunks its way downfield slowly having several 7/8/9 minute drives which will keep OSU Offense off the field and control game with time of possession…Knowles has to be aggressive and GET OFF THE FIELD on 3rd downs or OSU loses
Yes, ball control to keep OSU offensive off the field would be great.
Wow...Birm & Austin are still trying to say the TCUN game LOSS doesn't mean anything...There's a lot of Buckeye Fans out here that DO NOT AGREE> Get over it!!! Go Bucks!
This should be CRYSTAL CLEAR => The Game Plan will w/o a doubt be the most important thing.
Our Game Plan vs TTUN was abysmal and resulted in a loss.
Our Game Plan vs Tennessee => though flawed in certain areas (Special Teams comes to mind) was a cosmic leap forward from just a few weeks prior and the results really spoke for themselves.
Our Coaching Staff can be inept or pedestrian or elite……and adjustments from 1st hand game information usually has ZERO INFLUENCE !
The Xichigan game proved our players and their talent can’t overcome or compensate for these fatally flawed coaching inadequacies.
Let’s hope and pray that Chip & Ryan don’t squander yet another opportunity and ultimately our season with it !!!
Can’t we get Landis or Birm or Hartline to BITCHSLAP Kelly and Day if and when necessary ?
When our HC and OC jump the tracks => they certainly can’t find their way back on their own.
Our AD is too incompetent to do it.
Could Orlando Pace make a phone call ?
Could Tom Herman ?
Perhaps Joey Galloway ?
The time frame window won’t last long and any mid-step and we’ll be in the upside down world again.
Could Buckeye Nation get an early heads up to our general offensive scheme and plan of attack ? As long as it’s ballpark in the right direction => Chip can orchestrate the specifics.
But if it’s WRONG from the jump we’ll have to watch Jelly and Day soft drown our players hopes like they we’re little kittens…..and NO ONE wants to see that again.
Someone has to UNBURDEN THE SITUATION if it so arises….and it’s best to have a plan in place.
So Get Busy With It !!!!!

Like it or not, "The Game" has lost some relevance over the years. Yes, it`s still huge. BUT it does NOT define the season, as it used to in years past. The pursuit of National Championships are the new "The Game." I don`t make the rules, but that`s where we find ourselves.
Dumming down rivalry is weak imo. Just because we haven’t won it? Weak.
Down playing the rivalry is so pathetic… Beating Michigan is important, don’t let any 🤡, tell you otherwise.
I can’t believe even after that Tennessee game that we still have fans crying about TCUN. That game has always been, and will always be, a season within a season. One of those teams is still competing for a Natty, the other isn’t. Shut up and enjoy this run to a Championship.
We got ours last year
Nice try Birm
they are in the post season and playing the biggest game of the year and still people want to debate the michigan game. It’s fucking annoying that every comment section of these videos is just people arguing about a game that already happened. Michigan is playing a meaningless bowl game and Ohio State is in the playoffs. There are still games to be played. Debate michigan in the offseason. All i know is i want to win a national championship and even after losing to michigan that chance still exists.
It won’t be “meaningless” if we lose. You’ll use it like it was last years rose bowl to rub in our faces
I’m
Stop minimizing The Game. Clearly you’re parroting the narrative the AD and Day want at this point. You cannot lose 4 in a row to Michigan and think the fans should just get over it.
No one is minimizing it. People are putting it in perspective. Btw. Do you believe UM was cheating from 21/22/23? Cuz if you do, are you putting that into perspective? I agree that losing THE GAME can’t happen but perspective is a good thing.
@ there’s a clear effort from OSU and the media types trying to minimize The Game. Sure they cheated but until they’re held accountable and punished for it, then it’s just speculation right. History says OSU has never won a national title in a season where they lost to Michigan. Maybe that will change this year 🤷♂️
@@CWR173speculation? Harb was suspended last year for it, Stallions was given show cause for it. The NCAA has already submitted the report and is waiting for UM to respond to it. So if Day is fired “bc he lost 4 in a row” but later comes out that UM is given a massive penalty, are you going to apologize to Day and give him the job back?
@ Harbaugh was suspended by the Big 10 last year for it. NCAA suspended him for a recruiting violation. Anything short of vacating wins and titles is a slap on the wrist. No, Day lost last two years with no cheating involved.
The game should be minimized just a game . Who cares
Stop devaluing the game.
All of buckeye world is trying to make the Michigan game mean less because we can't win it... What a weak and pathetic approach.
Nah. It means alot. We can still win a NC though.
It does now just mean less though. You can win a natty and not beat them. That used to not be a thing
@@grego8992that’s not true. Just 2 years ago OSU lost to Michigan and got in the playoffs.
@jdburch right and that moment is when it started to mean less imo
@@grego8992
If Ryan Day wins the national championship this year, loses to Michigan next year and wins the national championship again next year the AD should fire him. To send a message that The Game doesn't mean less. But currently leadership is too incompetent and we will continue down the current path, instead of focusing on how to beat Michigan we are focusing on how to make the loss not hurt as bad.
Actively downplaying the rivalry is a thing now, huh??
Used to enjoy these guys now all the are are three miserable people
Penn state line is better than Ohio states lol not sure what y’all be watching
No.
@ put the cool laid down lol you had too much already
@@MikeJones-js5bt head to head ohio state 358 total yards penn state 270 total yards or are we judging it off something else?
How much PSU have you watched? Line is okay, not great. The Lions offense has been up and down all season.
@@smalltowntxscratcher6573 Ohio state only beats on Penn state cuz they got better athletes soon as they go against equivalent talent they bitch up lol
