Evaporation of water due to the temperature and the replacement of water due to spilage an the pond losing water through splashes requires what is known as tap up. This is where water is added to existing water.
Whilst this is not considered water chane technically it is. Tap up decreases the concentation of increased bioload from system. I am impressed with your prodss and system. Great job, keep up the good work.

Don’t do this, catfish are freshwater fish, do your research on “catfish natural habitat” “freshwater environment” and if you are looking to eat and to sell, be ethical, dirty water can’t be good for the fish long term and and for the person eating the fish. Keep your water clean and still add probiotics.

Trust me the water was still good enough for the fishes even after 6 months of no change except for little addition of water to the ponds once in a while to make up for the water lost due to evaporation 🙌🏽
