Steven thanks for this video...as a Nigerian woman striving in business, this is really an inspiration. Her story isn't the stereotype we see in Nigeria but look at how successful she is and she hasn't reached so called middle age where most people expect the success to flow.I am happy this video came my way. She was just saying alot of things I have been thinking. Hearing her is liberating & giving me permission to go after all of my dreams as a female in Nigeria. Thank you to her for sharing. More blessings to her & her endeavors.
Good luck my sister and you certainly need no one's permission. I'm a man from the South South/SE, I have personally seen women (in my family and otherwise) be bankers, doctors and lawyers for generations. And if not that then traders extraordinaire. I know that Southwest women do the same as well. And now, we see this example in the North. We have our gender issues in terms of some customs, but our society has always had big respect for what women can achieve! In Nigeria a grown man can call a woman, sometimes even much younger than him, "madam" with full respect.
She's the reason i registered my business and started my farming business in 2017 she's been doing so well for herself and people that listing, reads or watching her. She usually say with persistent and patience you will get to your dream land. I remember in one of her interview she said for a whole year she only managed to sell a set of furniture but she still believe in herself and her dream, now the results of hardworking is coming in for her gradually. I am super proud of her and I wish her more success in every areas of life. She's a blessing to Nigeria and Africa at large
She is very impressive indeed. She has done really well. Even more impressive that she has achieved all this without being married, and not inherited anything to give her a head start. And she is under 40 years of age. I think she is a great candidate for Fortune Africa magazine’s Top Africans under 40 category of recognition.
Some people think Nigeria is ONLY LAGOS…. But forget we have cities in Nigeria which are more beautiful than Lagos and Abuja that you have Never heard about.
