my company switched me over from plumbing that I’ve been doing all my life to maintenance on boilers to service, and you just taught me something Great work
What is that black round/balloon thing that you cleaned out? Does that have to be cleaned out annually? If so, do I need to buy gaskets every time I do that?
My lwco hydro level 400 has a slight dimmed light at all times, it does turn bright orange when water is low and shuts boiler off, could it be the reason why my McDonnell-Miller feeder continues to feed more then one cycle because probe is not grounded properly and causing the slight dimmed orange? Thanks
Hi sir, what's the best electricy for this probe? AC or DC? i've tried using DC 12v but it decrease become DC 6v. i've also tried using DC 12v it also decrease become 8-12v right now i'm still waiting for some parts using AC 24v, is it safe? Thanks for your sharing
I was wondering if you can give me some input on, I have a new steam boiler McClain 35 series with a 400 water cut off , I installed with a friend a new McDonnell miller universal 24v water feeder and when I test to fill when water is low it fill to the glass line then it pauses for a few and starts filling again to the point of overflow so I have to shut it off because it repeats the process about 4 times before it stops , what do you suggest is going on ? Thanks

Is there a typical life span on one of these probes? Are ]you changing based on the gunk build up?
