- Hey guys! This video is designed to help with analysis of characters in the play ‘La Casa de Bernarda Alba’
While specifically aimed at A Level students, I hope this will be of use to anyone wishing to understand the play better!
I hope you are all well!
Thank you for making this! Your Spanish is great, and this video gives me the exact same vibes as when I record myself speaking in Spanish so I also found it quite funny :)
Haha I'm glad you liked it! Going to make some more vids soon :)
¡Perfecto! Puedo encontrar aquí todo mi repaso para el año que viene. ¡Gracias!
Eleanor Channer de nada Cariño 😘😘😘
This was helpful and you're so chill and comfortable in front of the camera! :)
omg ur so sweet :)
I was predicted a C in Spanish but I watched this video and now I have a C+!!!!!!!! thank you so much @filosophando you are a true national treasure
Un vídeo buen hecho!
With reference to the mother of Bernarda I disagree with you when you say that she is not really important. She is the one who says loudly what the other ones think but don’t dare to say. And the other daughter that I think it’s important too is Martirio.
that's a really good insight! I'll have to look into her more thanks for commenting this :))
Please do more videos like (historical context, franco's link) I'm going to start learning this in a lvel next week
I am planning to film this next week! Thanks for the suggestion :)
Ok video está hecho!

santizagola puede ser... como tienes 3 likes? 🤣
Maybe I'm missing something but I find this play so incredibly boring.
It is quite dry but I think when you really look at the language Lorca has some really funny one liners and really perceptive comments. The story line is quite uneventful except for the end so I think the key to understanding it and enjoying it better is probably going through it bit by bit
