The $6 buffet definitely looked worth it, while the expensive one looked nice, some of the other expensive buffets you've shown seem much better. Always appreciate the little stories you share; definitely makes it more entertaining!
This is going to sound weird coming from an internet stranger, but Jimmy I've watched you come up from the early days and you're sitting at almost 400k subs now. I'm fucking proud dude. You deserve all this love, and this video was (as usual) fantastic. Keep killing it man!
I just found this video on my recommended page! You seem so nice and authentic that’s so hard to find in this day and age especially on UA-cam! Instant follow!
Idk Jimmy, but something about your videos make me feel like im talking to that one friend who's never boring. And i thank you for that. Keep making good content jimmy
When he started talking about how Koreans either say their family was really rich or wealthy vs their family was really poor is spot on lmao. My mother and her entire side of the family always start off their stories with “we were so poor”
16:25 i think this dish was a direct homage to parasite because in that movie, the mother wasn’t just making cheap chapaguri, but topping this cheap instant noodles with hanwoo beef which is comparable to Wagyu in price. The director wanted to show, that for these super rich, expensive food can be seen as something as mundane as filling cheap stuff. My guess is, the restaurant used hanwoo as well.
Live stream or video in the South Korean countryside. Try a village cafe home cafe , where you can join other family and have a conversation. Go camping and make your own food, including pizza. Try other types of videos that you used to make on your family farm, such as making pizza in the stone oven. Don't forget old-type content, such as flexing your body while cutting wood. Go live with a lucky Korean subscriber and meet him or her. Make content on your farm and make pizza in the stone oven challenge video spent 24hr with 15 doller or 30K won btw i am your old subscriber from Stone oven pizza stone beef and rice wine take care
Thank you for another fun video! I love when you tell us your stories, it feels like we are hanging out as friends 😊 the cheaper buffet looked great, I wish there was something affordable like that here and the owner was so kind when you were leaving. The expensive buffet didn’t look very impressive, I really appreciate your honest reviews of the food. I listen to your Spotify to help me fall asleep, hope you keep being successful! Sending love from Ireland as always! ☘️❤️
Yes, when I was in kindergarten in Ukraine in the 90s I remember going out and playing in the snow just in my underwear with all the other kids. It's for the same reason, to improve our immune system. I don't recall ever feeling cold, scared, getting sick, or not wanting to do it. I remember we really loved it as kids because it felt super freeing and fun. Obviously I don't think that would fly nowadays.
Jimmy, I have a funny story to tell you, I was cooking dinner with my headphones today and decided to just play any random UA-cam channel. It turned out to be your giant Japanese food vid, then this Korean buffet and your muscle bar vid (randomly played in loop) . I spent 45mins just cooking and listening (mind you, not WATCHING these vids) and lol, after finished cooking, I rewatched your vids again and LOLed, listening to your vids gave me the impression that you're an ojii-san in your 40s but lol! Wasn't expecting an Oppa lolololololol, anyhu, subscribed!😂
Love your videos, Jimmy! I've lived in Korea for 20 years and only today learned the double meaning of the Korean word for anchovy. I learned the double meaning for the Korean word for chilli pepper when I told somebody to enjoy their 'gochu' only to have sniggers around the table. That's my story for the day.
Love your stories jimmy!! We don’t have the exact same topless immunity stenghtening routine as you in kindergarten but we know it’s important to expose skin to the sun, let children play outside (occasionally eating sticks and dirt 🤣) but it truly does make a strong immunity! Hopefully one day you can experience Australian culture 🫶🏽
The shade you put on that Steve Irwin stingray joke was TOP TIER my dude. So damn funny! Just found your content and I'm binging it like a $120 buffet. Keep it up!
I love that before you even lifted the ladle I knew it was sikhye. 🤣 I have watched too much Korean content and uncle Jimmy videos. Don't worry Jimmy, I play your music on spotify every damned day. Gotta get Jimmy his COINS! Lol.
I just subscribed today and I'm so starstruck at how funny and weirdly enough relatable your videos are! I really enjoy how you like to share your stories with us. I can see your passion, and I cannot wait to see more of your videos. I promise I will listen to your Spotify playlist when I read!!!💙💫
Greetings from Cali! Great narration and you're funny Jimmy. Thanks for this feature video. You raised some good points. I'll watch out for the sushi if I visit thoss places.
I feel like there's not enough comments praising your humor, I laughed out loud at the small American man joke 😂 In fact I think that's what made me click Subscribe, great content keep it coming!!
The Steve Irwin comment just made me realise why I love watching your video, you're more relatable than most other UA-camrs I watch! Thank you for being you Uncle Jimmy
I've been briefly in South Korea in 1996, twice. I was going to live in Japan and, as an Italian citizen, my visa could only be processed from abroad and Seoul was the best option. I knew nothing about Korea and in those days we didn't even have mobile phone. Very very few people could speak English and I was offered a job as an English teacher almost instantly (blonde, blue eyes worked better than a passport then). I was impressed by the kindness of the people but unfortunately I really didn't know what to eat so I ended up eating easy take away food that I could point with my finger. Jimmy, you are showing us how to survive in Korea without spending an arm and a leg. Next, I would love to see other activities and accomodations with good food such as the Japanese ryokan, onsen (thermal bath), etc. One more thing, the sea looked beautiful from the window, where are the best places to swim? What do Koreans do during the holidays? Any good cycling routes to explore? Thank you!
Yes I agree about telling us your jokes culture and personal life attached to the food it makes you different then others and also personable and funny!
that jam spread on bread thing is just a cheap and lazy breakfast in my country lol. I always feel a bit of culture shock seeing it served in a high end buffet in other countries :DD
I was born and raised in korea. I left when I was 11. I ironically got stationed at osan in my 20’s. But haven’t been back since, your videos made me learn a lot about what has changed since I left. Thank you!
Eating the sting ray and saying this is for Steve Erwin is so relatable. Love the buffet video and the six dollar buffet seemed like a really good place to grab a meal with a reasonable price.
Signiel Busan is ok but I agree with your assessment. I like the Josun Palace which is more or less next door to the Signiel. I typically stay at the LCT which is great!
I wish you went to all the buffets in the middle too , Like I would have gone to a $15 - $20 one, or maybe a $35 dollar one if it was really worth it~! you went from one that most would definitely want to avoid to one that most could definitely not afford!
$6 one is the best bang for the buck, but aesthetics and presentation and ambience, definitely $120. And I don't click on these videos for the meals, but for Uncle Jimmy's story(weird to call someone uncle when they are close to my age).
I’m a new subscriber 🤭 ( I subscribed at the end of the video) but I was eating kimchi nongshim ramen while watching and then you said we don’t waste soup we add rice and I was drinking my soup and I was like wait I have rice so I went and put the rice in my soup and it was so tasty 😋
Love your videos Jimmy, for my next travel, i must visit Korea :).. This year i go to Japan, and this is my third time there, but i must visit Korea one day :)
Very nice videos!! Keep it up! U still look 19! Wud u pls show vegeterian option for pure vegetarian people no egg even. I know its hard but pls try! I m very much curious to find vegetarian option in south korea.
Jimmy your content was great as always but I want to know where did you buy that hoodie, oh and my son loves your music, he listens to it all the time😊😊😊😊
as a chinese person I really like how you emphasize the pronounciation of my country's name, make sure you continue to do that every time you say China
The $6 buffet definitely looked worth it, while the expensive one looked nice, some of the other expensive buffets you've shown seem much better. Always appreciate the little stories you share; definitely makes it more entertaining!

Thanks for another great content! That $6 buffet looked really good 🤤
It's so true, I used to eat just prawns and seafood when I was a teen but now I try a little bit of everything to enjoy the flavours
random but so happy for you to see how far your channel has grown! you totally deserve it :)
so happy this channel came up in my feed, i can't stop watching!
What else should I do in my video? Should I find the cheapest buffet in Seoul and try it? 😊
You should do a bike tour live stream in the south korean countryside
Do 24 hours eating from vending machines in Korea.

that jam spread on bread thing is just a cheap and lazy breakfast in my country lol. I always feel a bit of culture shock seeing it served in a high end buffet in other countries :DD

“Better get some kimchi before the South Korean government takes my citizenship away..” 😂😂😂 bahahah
Love your videos man. Keep it up
$6 one is the best bang for the buck, but aesthetics and presentation and ambience, definitely $120. And I don't click on these videos for the meals, but for Uncle Jimmy's story(weird to call someone uncle when they are close to my age).
For the more expensive buffet, I would have gotten one of every single dessert they had, never mind asking for just one or two :D
Bro lol, wen to check ur youtube channel and "The uncle you wish you jad" got me laughing haha! Your humor gives a bright smile to my face haha!
That 6$ buffet was my jam, I wouldve demolished them
