Thanks Mark, I have been doing this by diving into the channel menu. So good to know it is available on the the top tier multiple menu. Also you just taught me about the end gate trigger, which I can see some uses for, as it could trigger a faller/riser in to a B section or drop back into the main beat again. always love your videos, very approachable and inline with my learning style, thanks again.
Thanks Mark, very helpful and never would have thought it was a part of the x menu as there is a reset in the main menu which I guess is just to reset the whole channel!
Hi Mark. I've just got a Pams (the Pro version as that was all I could get...) and am still finding my way around it. videos like this are enormously helpful so thank you for sharing your insights and experiences
Well spotted! I bypassed the effects unit for this clock walkthough to keep things easy to follow on beat. The Javelin output is going straight out to the audio interface, I just forgot to remove green cables to the Versio.
I have a Pam’s Pro and there was a an option called “start” and “stop” which will send a trigger for those events. I thought the Nee version had those same options.
@@markbooth the Pro UI must make it more obvious I guess. Never had a New. All my sequencers work better with Reset on start too, which seams weird. You would think on Stop would be better.
@@Qwiv yeah mine too. It looks like some sequencers rest to “play” the first step which is fine when resetting mid performance but no good if stopping g the system as it then misses the first step. These Eurorack quirks are sent to challenge us 🙃

Hi Rob, halo to help and thanks for the kind feedback. I love making these videos and all feed back is very much welcome.

Another viewer mentioned that the setting I showed you are designed for external rest function. It actually says so in the user manual!
@@markbooth If your way works seems fine by me - will have another look at the manual once I've fixed the Nebulae! : )

No worries Andy, happy to help
Thank you!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Every little tip helps :)
How do you output audio on this case? Desmodus seems end of chain but outs are not patched...

I’ve just looked that up in the manual and those are the modifiers I was demonstrating. I didn’t realise that’s what they were called.
