I used to make jam bars often for my kids - my recipe contained wheat germ - oh, so good! I used lots of flavored jams, but my favorites were always made with blackberry jam. Blackberries remind me of my grandma's kitchen and all of her homemade blackberry jams and pies! Thank you for sharing this!

I made this recipe for the third time today using my own homemade jam and it's perfect. Today I changed one thing. I substituted 1/2 c. flour for 1/2c almond flour and it is fantastic. Slightly more crumbly, but that's not a bad thing. ^_^ Thanks so much for hosting this show!

Laura, I have a bit of an unusual question. Can you tell me what brand your glass mixing bowls are and where I can purchase them? I need to invest in some new glass mixing bowls and I like yours because they have the clear decorative stripe in the middle whereas most of them do not. As soon as they come in I'm going to get right back to making all your delicious recipes. Thank you Ma'am!

I've been watching your show since the beginning and I love it. I have been watching you struggle with the parchment paper. I never used it until I watched you and it works great. BUT..It made me crazy too until one day I went to the dollar store and found a brand that is the same width as the pans!!!! So cheap I buy rolls and rolls when I go. If I had your PO Box I would send you some. Please let me know where to send. BTW I'm trying this today but will be using sugar free jam. Thank You

Rana Ch but she doesn't have to save the dough for the second round...she can bake the whole thing at once and then spread the nutella on later...
