- Recently, I travelled to Chandel district interior areas along with DIG Ningshen Worngam and Hemant Pandey SP Chandel on 12th July 2022. It was one great and exhausting trip requiring more than 16 hrs journey starting from 6.45 am and ended at 11.40 pm. The purpose being to visit some border areas for opening Outposts. It was tiring, but enjoyable with the company I had. This is the first video covering the route from Chakpikarong to Joupi village. This video documentation is one of them , though not necessarily in sequence. Enjoy the video and imagine you are accompanying us in this challenging, yet fabulous trip.

It's quite heartening to see policemen in Manipur with happy and smiling faces for I think that's quite rare. And it's all the more delightful that our top cop is so adorable and simple, must have been a pleasure to serve alongside you. While everything of you and your videos are positive and energising, I request you to take steps to ensure that the Manipur police personnel behave properly with their brothers and sisters in the state, that they are motivated enough and that they perform their duties diligently. I have seen many incidents wherein they behave abusively, verbally and physically even for very simple arguments. I serve in CISF, but even with us, their behaviour, many a times are disgusting. Gamvet Mol last time we went there were no infrastructure(might be 3/4 years back). It's nice to hear that the concern authority took initiative to develop this beautiful peak. Standing tall around 2000m from mean sea level, this peak might be the highest peak of Tengnoupal District, on a clear day one can view Imphal valley of manipur, Bahlong valley and Jangdung hill ranges of Myanmar from this summit. Very nice video Sir. Even when you are wearing proper uniform along with bullet proof jacket, why the SP is not wearing even the Beret? The SP should have wear the proper uniform. May be this is small issue but maintaining this decoram also make the Police department beautiful and discipline.
This is true to some extent. But over a period of time in a long journey, he may have decided to be more casual due to the road conditions.

Sir Clay, I really appreciate and love your work with dedication, really nice to watch ur vlogs petroling with ur cops, sir i wanna mention one thing is, in uniform our police uniform is not appropriate in wearing as it is in time of patrolling no proper helmet and knee guard with bp i think it is risky in time of war because of no proper equipment in cops so i request in time of your period please make our state cops in fittest equipment with full of proper uniform compulsory to wear like the US and the Chinese PAP
I agree with your observation. Many times our uniform is not ideal for certain situations. But then, it's our uniform which we wear with pride. Certain improvisation is definitely reqd for field officers.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
