- Former school friends Nick Johnson and Nick Graham are business partners. Their alcoholic drink was inspired by a hard selzer they tasted in Toronto, Canada on holiday one year. The two Nick's decided to bring it over to the UK and name their drink Berczy, after the park they were sitting in when they first tried the drink. They're seeking an investment of £120,000 in exchange for 10% of their company.

Just done a quick Google: They launch in the US next month after receiving a £400k ($485k) investment from non-dragon backers, with plans to branch out further into Europe over the next few months. Good luck to them.

Steven said that asking for 120k was a lot to ask for, but on shark tank that would be considered asking for a small amount compared to what most people ask for on that show. Interesting to see the difference between the two

They are strategist and what they should have done is take a look at the strategies of prior companies that didnt have money to burn and how they did it. The first thing would come to mind if they were smart is, WOMEN ! now the second question would be where do I find those and what type of level income would be caught drinking these then I would look at college kids and again WOMEN and go talk with a few fraternities to sponsor their parties and hire a few giving them a small equity position in the company plus a small salary. Make sure its a party town and the bars and clubs are in a small proximity and buy a cheap vehicle, wrap it, and make sure it is making the rounds every weekend and giving out small samples while pitching the bars to stock the product. It takes what they call GORILLA MARKETING not buying the market

it’ll most likely be cut and presented that way for TV. a lot of the close up of faces they make while someone is talking is usually not in the same scene. that’s how tv work. it’s like when you see a concert or audience situation on TV they’ll usually ask them to clap, cheer etc before the show even starts so they can cut them in the editing process

Peter loves the product, has identified current and future challenges, knows how to implement solutions - and so he's out. Doesn't seem to have what it takes to be an entrepreneur, nor understand the concept.

Peter build multinational company from scratch. Invested on God knows how many companies. One of his investment turned into multimillion company in food sector.
