These are the requirements for the state of MO. 1. Attend A Missouri Dealer Educational Seminar 2. Complete Dealer Application 3. Pass A Criminal Background Check 4. Register Your Dealership Name With The Missouri Secretary of State 5. You Must Have A Place Of Business 6. You Must Have A Display Lot 7. You Need A Business Sign 8. Submit A Photograph Of Your Business 9. Maintain Dealer Insurance On Your Vehicle Inventory 10. Provide A Dealer Surety Bond Or Irrevocable Letter Of Credit 11. Maintain Regular Business Hours 12. Have Your Business Location Certified By A Law Enforcement Officer
wow, that's a nice trailer. On a side note, I am also a full-time ebay seller. Lately i have been getting in to auto parts and doing really well with it. The only thing that intimidates me is shipping the really large parts like hatches, hoods, and doors. Do you still get shipping labels on ebay for those types of body panels or do you have a ups account or other account for those. Also how do you know the cut-off before you have to through freight. I see a lot of sellers offer free shipping on super large items and I don't know how they do it
Some doors are small enough to go with FedEx Ground so you can a label from eBay otherwise you would get a label from the freight carrier. You can check rates at uship.com I use a lot of YRC but it just depends on the item and where it’s going. Shipping from business to business with a forklift or loading dock rates are between $120-$200. Residential has additional charges. If you don’t have a business location with a forklift or loading dock you can drop it off at the terminal.
