Wow! Whether it's your voice or technique, I find you to be a fantastic instructor. I'm just starting crochet and your instructions are really helpful.
Hi Marybeth Thank you so much for yet another fantastic tutorial I watch so many of yours and I get to make most of them due to your very easy to follow instructions thank you for that. I absolutely love this shawl what a gorgeous pattern I have just started making it I will post a photo soon ❤️💋, lots of love to you and yours God Bless look forward to even more crochet from you stay safe my friend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Printed this pattern yesterday, and just saw your video, perfect timing. Thank you. Just fyi, a commenter noted that the chart has dcbp instead of dcfp. Not sure if anyone at Yarnspirations will see this, or if they could correct the pdf. Have a good day.
Hello Just found your pattern and this site. I have ordered my yarn and while waiting I was practicing and I was not understanding the end of row 3. My practice piece was not looking right but when I followed you I got it. So now I'm ready when my yarn comes in. Thank you so much for the tutorial. It helped a lot. BTW - I'm left handed and taught myself how to crochet years ago.
Beautiful! I'm making shawls for my sister's and nieces. I'm so happy to come across this pattern, it's beautiful and perfect for fall here in Texas. Thank you.
Thank you for this lovely shawl Mary Beth I found your tutorial so easy to follow and I love the way my shawl worked up so quickly I will certainly be making more 😊Amanda xx💕
I only wish that the demo didn't skip through to the end of each row, & also skipping the demonstration of the end of row stitches, because it wasn't always clear where her hook was entering and she talked a little too fast. I'm still learning to understand what's meant in written directions so, clear demonstration is very helpful for my education. Can someone make another video of this pattern?
Hello I have been following you as you give instructions, but I cannot find the the pattern to download. Maybe I am not looking in the right place. please help. Thankyou.
I have seen videos of people washing finished products with shampoo and conditioner to soften the yarn. They say it works. I haven’t tried it yet but I plan on it because I have a lot of yarn that I need to use up.
I’m just starting out. Pattern seems easy enough. The video does help however I’m stuck on what seems to be an easy part at the beginning. After the starting circle and the 7 triple crochets there is a chain one then eight more triple crochets. I know it’s easy but I can’t accomplish the single chain into the remaining triple crochets. She skips it in the video and I need it too move on.
I love the video, but I am finding it difficult to follow the parts that are fast forwarded and I feel I am missing stitches or making too many during those skip ahead sections. Can you please not skip ahead? I really want to get this right! it's a beautiful pattern! Thank you.
You skipped through half a row and I messed it up. I find the code hard to read too to try and correct it. Up to row 4 it was nice and easy but half of row 4 is missing and I am not sure how to fix it.
Hi Luva! We all have different ways of holding our yarn. The key is to find a way that works for you! Mikey still posts videos in our channel. Make sure you subscribe :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was so confused by the edging instructions for this pattern, you made it so easy to understand!
Lovely shawl. Thank you for this video!!

The Yarn is Caron One Pound and Hook is Size I or 9.
Caron One Pound is 100% acrylic
Beautiful.

Hello
I have been following you as you give instructions, but I cannot find the the pattern to download. Maybe I am not looking in the right place. please help. Thankyou.
Muy hermoso 😍
Muy bonito! Sería posible subtitulos en español?? Muchas gracias
I don’t see how much yarn this pattern takes😩 it’s beautiful and want to make one, just need to know how much yarn to buy. Thank
1 ball of CARON ONE POUND = 812 yards
Caron Yarns free pattern shows it right at the tor of the directions and just below the photo.
Sorry, spell check shouldn't have changed 'top' to 'tor'.
hi what size hook you are using?
Love the pattern but Caron one pound yarn is too stiff; there is no drape. Going to rip it apart & try again with a softer yarn.
I have seen videos of people washing finished products with shampoo and conditioner to soften the yarn. They say it works. I haven’t tried it yet but I plan on it because I have a lot of yarn that I need to use up.

what Side crochet needle you need
I love the video, but I am finding it difficult to follow the parts that are fast forwarded and I feel I am missing stitches or making too many during those skip ahead sections. Can you please not skip ahead? I really want to get this right! it's a beautiful pattern! Thank you.
Hi, I thought it was treble ?
One third in on mine. Took me 4 tries to get started. The chart caused some confusion because it said dcbp not dcfp.
Rachel Brenner : thank you! Printed this out yesterday, before I saw the vid. Def will note this on chart. Have a good day.
I just checked the pattern & it has been fixed to dcfp.
@@PeggyV69 oh that's good, thanks for the headsup!
You skipped through half a row and I messed it up. I find the code hard to read too to try and correct it. Up to row 4 it was nice and easy but half of row 4 is missing and I am not sure how to fix it.
Great video. Im guessing this is US terms so Im needing to convert to UK terms? Thats a 'double treble' to me
What size is the hook ?
Calls for I9 hook.
Is there any way someone can attach the pattern? Every time I try to click on it on the Yarnspirations website, it gives me an error.
oh no! Could you try this link: www.yarnspirations.com/gb/caron-go-to-crochet-shawl/CAC0126-026931M.html
Sorry about that!
Your fingers can’t let me see well
Annoying, the way she holds the yarn. only watched for one minute. Where's Mikey?
Hi Luva!

The left hand is odd and distracting, makes it hard to see, but your explaining is awesome!
