- Travelling through Arkansas I stopped at some creeks looking for something to catch. I found an old mill on a creek that had a bunch of different fish in it. On my way to the Bassmaster kayak championship at Tenkiller.

Next time you're in Arkansas, go through Salem or Sturkie and fish South Fork River....we have always called it a creek.

I was in the car as a passenger today and noticed a nice small creek I need to check out, it was in ga, I guess I'm going to get a ga fishing license, that was nice place you found there, beautiful, some huge sunfish, you got the life!👍🎣

You need to fish some of Kansas’ ditches. I’ve gotten to doing that when I’m out visiting my farm. All kind of stuff in those things.
There’s a creek not far from this spot that I fished last week. It is loaded with smallmouth in the summer months. Average size about 10 to 14 inches. I tried my first bubblegum swirl yum dinger there last week and caught a 16” smallmouth. The video is on my channel!

Vacationing down in Florida caught two nice large mouth bass in a small pond just near where we are staying!! Any where there is fresh water you can bet there are fish !

I just caught a nice largemouth bass today here in Kentucky, first bass of the season and I was happy! Excellent start to the season for me, and my daughter caught a nice 1.5 lb bass as well...

You should have swung down to Fouke, Arkansas. They have a famous creek down there called Boggy Creek. They made a couple of movies about it.

yes really starting to, but can be tough until more really warm days
End of spring, you need to add Richland Creek then the Elk River down towards where Richland runs into it-on a trip. Then try the 10mile Buffalo while you are in the area (before it gets to hot and dry). Richland from Hwy 64 to Vale’s Mill is usually a good one. Or further down.

There’s a lot of rock quarry ponds in NorthWest Arkansas that have green sunfish up to 1 1/2 lbs that I’ve caught
I remember the last time you fished here. Looks like a great spot. Thank You for sharing. I killed the skunk with a shiner yesterday. May as well have been a Marlin I was so grateful.. lol Those greengill hybrids are cool. I caught a mess of them last year not far from you near Tellico..

Here in Va growing up we’d get into those big striped shiners sometimes and they’d be aggressive and so plentiful it was all you could catch so we’d have to move along

The only downside to fishing these spots is not knowing the terrain and shallow spots and losing your favorite spoon

I grew up fishing ditches. I got hooked on it after catching a small trout in roadside ditch in California. Fun video!

You weren't far from where i live, in Cherokee village. A lot of places like that in Northern Arkansas, where the bream are plentiful and gorge on the trapped bait fish. Great video bud. Get a hold of me brother. A bunch of places i could take you. That road side market usually has a bunch of antique fishing equipment, once the weather gets better.

While you're in the area, you should go over to The Little Egypt area of So. Illinois and try Cache River. There are cypress swamps, cliffs & bluffs. Really nice area.

i have experienced some creeks like that also, i wonder why its hard to catch them sometimes when its stopped up with a Beaverdam, maybe just so much more water for them
