She deserved this so much, and Ugly Betty should have kept going becasue we need a show like that sending that kind of message every single day. We need to see that. UB needs to come back so we can see America's beautiful face every week too.

U said it all! I love Ugly Betty for what it did for television. The reasons they had for replacing it pissed me off (and still do to this day). Even though it's out on DVD now, it should've gone to at least a 5th or 6th season. We haven't seen a show like that since and we probably never will again.

I am watching this in 2023 and I never realised how much of a positive impact ugly Betty had on normal girls, I agree that it shouldn’t have stopped at four seasons, but I would be very very happy if they brought out a movie or a new season maybe it could be about Betty’s daughter or son going through something similar and Betty could be there guider, plus I can imagine Daniel and Betty having children

Now I finally get around to watching Ugly Betty thanks to my aunt (I just finished watching the show for the first time as of the making of this comment) and because of that show, I love Ferrera even more!

When you focus on the reasons why you do what you do and love what you love, the rest of it is just a byproduct of what you put out there! She is beautiful in all senses of the word!

@colliegirl29 I think they should've at least let Ugly Betty go into a fifth season. I find that shows that go 5 seasons and beyond are relevant and have cult status. THIS show was DEFINITELY cult status even though it didn't go 5 seasons. I know what did this show in was two things: The strike that took place in Season 2 and the constant shuffling of this show between different lineups and days. How are you gonna put lesser talented shows over this one? That's what happened.

Ugly betty was a cultural reset, it was remade for each and every country it was shown. We also have a Philippine version, though the original was not America. It was such a reset on how beauty is just subjective.
