April 2025 Week 2 TNA Impact! | X-Division Championship Open Challenge Match

The newly crowned X-Division Champion, Johnny Magnum, makes his return to TNA action after being out for the last month with a broken rib. His return came a bit earlier than originally reported as we saw Magnum become the final entrant into the Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship @ Hard to Kill. Magnum was selected as the mystery opponent by TNA GM John Ritter.
Magnum put on an incredible performance in his first match back in action and was able to secure his first career TNA title in the form of the X-Division Championship. At the same time he was also able to end Shayne Redmond’s streak of back-to-back Ultimate X victories, including a 1v1 win over Magnum.
He returns to action tonight to face Severn Williams, the young hotheaded superstar who has yet to find his footing since joining TNA last fall. The matchup comes after Magnum issued an open challenge to the TNA locker room for a shot at his brand new title. Williams jumped at the opportunity and is now in what could be the biggest match of his career so far.
Can Magnum retain his title? Or will Severn Williams bring his first title reign to a halt before it can even get going?
