March 2025 Week 4 TNA Hard to Kill | 4-Man Ultimate X X-Division Championship Match

3 weeks ago, Simon made the decision to give up the X-Division Championship in exchange for a shot at the TNA World Championship, held by Sammy Guevara, @ Hard to Kill. On Thursday’s TNA taping, he handed his title back over to GM John Ritter and signed his contract. However in that contract, as Pontarelli was already slated to face Guevara 1v1 for the title, it was said that the match will be a triple threat. What a blessing for the fans, but this could turn out to be a massive misstep by Simon as his odds of leaving Hard to Kill with no championship have only increased.
With the X-Division Championship now up for grabs, 4 TNA superstars will get a chance at the title in a TNA classic, the Ultimate X match.
Among those 4 competitors are:
Shayne Redmond, the 2 X-Division Champion and current king of the Ultimate X.
Percy Gray, the wrestling journeyman who is looking to grab his first title in TNA.
Bobbey Mac, a man who has competed in 5 Ultimate X matches, but is yet to have won.
???, a mystery opponent set to be revealed during his entrance to the match.
Many are speculating as to whether this mystery opponent could be a new debut or possibly a return of a former TNA Superstar or even Johnny Magnum? Magnum has been out with a broken rib since Sacrifice after he defeated Von Van Cise in a No Holds Barred Match to become the #1 Contender for the X-Division Championship. So, if anyone has a valid claim on the title it is likely him.
Whoever the mystery opponent does end up being, we can be sure to expect a great match inside the Ultimate X.
