Not a bad round for medium powered medium-long range shooting to be honest. Less air used to achieve the same result means more shooting for the day... not a terrible concept. Keep it up guys! We LOVE your work here in Canada!
I absolutely agree! My impact is set to 285m/s and I use a 25gr JSB KO. I get good results at the same distance. The regulator pressure is only 130bar and I get almost 70 shots on one fill.
7:15 that satisfying sound is like getting your neck and back popped at the chiropractor, lol. Thanks for taking us along and progressing this sport/hobby, Matt.
Incredible, so thankful for you guys pioneering and leading the innovation in this hobby. I started back in 2010 with a Benjamin Marauder and to see what we have today thanks to you SA boys still just blows my mind. I can NOT wait to be shooting 40g javelin slugs out of my M3 @ 200yds with the 800mm Hein Frommann stiff barrel. Hopefully in next 6 months?
The 34grain .218 Javelins work amazingly well in My 2021 K1 despite it having a pellet barrel, need to test on a day without gale force winds but I'm guessing about 1 moa at 100meters shooting them at 1000fps. :-) Great video, thanks for sharing it with us!
Great shooting guys! Question: of the diameters, .216, .217, .218, do you find that the FX barrels (typically) prefer one size or do you have to determine what size to use on a barrel by barrel basis?
Just listening to you guys in the background is making me laugh. That satisfying slap when the pellet or bullet hits… I used to solely varmint hunt with rimfires. My go too’s were my Mossburg 151B, or my 10-22 in one of many configurations. For long range, over 150 it was always one of my Marlin .22 mags. For the .22s it was ALWAYS the Winchester Power Points, massive slap at any range. No doubt of the hit. For the Mags I always liked the Winchester Supremes. Aside from the slap, it would just rip them up. Can’t find the Power Points anymore, I still have 1200 rnds in hard cases just for hunting, and there’s a lesser, but comparable Winchester round out, and I shoot those sparingly. Now I primarily shoot my air rifles. Much more of a challenge and very satisfying when to7 connect. It’s like archery, at least to me, in that way. Need to make those Patriots in .25. Fun fun 🤪
Great video, mate! It makes life in Qatar more fun when you make these videos and pushes me to get, yet another, FX rifle as mine is one of the first Impacts with all the possible mods. Hope to see you onboard one day:-) Summer is coming….
Try to eat those wild pigeons, they taste so nice; they are my all time favorite. Just put some water, salt, onions, tomatoes, spices(powder form based on choices); should be a little spicy. Cook them for 1 hour and 45 minutes in normal pot or 1 and 15 minutes in pressure pots thank me later. When it's ready pour the soup on white rice or crushed bread with pigeons 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I've been to all fancy restaurants around the world but this is my all time favorite. Not all pigeons tastes nice, only wild ones especially the one I see in the video. They have a pattern on thier wings and the turtle dove is on top of my favorite list🔝.
Hi there everyone! I love shooting, and like these guys think there is always room to learn and improve. Thinking outside the box and open to testing results while enjoying what there goals are. I appreciate the scientific approach, having a background in physics and engineering I've been developing a new idea in airgun design. My bench tests have produced new results , high volacitys witch I have tamed to repeatedly accurate shots at 50yds with 135g air venturi slugs at about 900 fps. Dtm. If these guy could develop a higbid for sonic speeds it could be next level stuff? P/S thanks for all the years of videos full of great information, I've learned so much! .Ken J
Have you considered adding a lightweight, streamlined tip like on most centerfire varmint bullets? Up the BC and still retain explosive, terminal ballistics...
I am a HUGE HUGE fan from Saudi Arabia, I bought the FX M3 because of you. I bought the ELEMENT HELIX FFP just because you are using it, and found out later that you are the founder of this super amazing scopescope along with your good mates Gherrard, ( I hope I spellled his name right lal) The scope is way too good that I bought 3 of them for my 3 rifles later after
Nice Vid.. Like your thinking Did it occur to you that a slug that performs well at lower speeds might be good for people that don't have an FX impact or a rifle that is as easy to adjust as the impact is. Or how about the individual that wants or needs to shoot both slugs and pellets without doing a full retune of their rifle each time they change projectile style
Great video. If you guys change the slug design; will these be a new line of slugs or renamed like, Javelin .22 .217 26gr (redesigned)? If you change the slug design(s) will you continue to produce the older design?
This man should have a TV deal. This channels quality is top notch!
For real man

@@MrPyroMaster😊sir iam using the fx maverick compact 177 regulater pressure 100 bar.
So wich slugs using to me in your opinion
Pls answer me sir 🙏
Great and useful as always. Javelin Slug I think the best slug in the world The only negative point of Javelin Slug is that it is very expensive.
7:15 that satisfying sound is like getting your neck and back popped at the chiropractor, lol. Thanks for taking us along and progressing this sport/hobby, Matt.
I didn’t know this even happened? The smack sound is awesome!
Some hunts are just unforgettable. This was one of them.
One of your best videos yet. Thanks for taking us along with you. Best wishes from the States!
Definitely looking forward to more slug development content.

Roelf's firing sequence is amazing..!
M3 with javelin is a great couple, love this video
Love the change up and some "behind the scenes " look at what you guys are up to. Keep it up!
7:27 slo-mo looks like a soda can impacting the bird. Great job on this video.
Oh I get it, "testing day" is codename for spending time with the boys
It's like load development day..nice

Very enjoyable video Matt and Nicole. I have zero doubt you'll develop a slug that meets all your criteria. Thanks for bringing us along!
Great video guys and some amazing shots never get tired of hearing the sweet pop sound on impact. Cheers
Absolutely superb marksmanship guys 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Yo that whistle sound is wicked cool
Nice video, great marksmanship. Thanks for sharing.
FX Impact M3 is an incredible air rifle. 💣
I have to have it. Perfect video 👍
The video is so cool, I always love watching it to the end. And I was always entertained and not bored
Matt Dubber e Roelf Vorster são show de pontaria, vídeo ficou top demais belos abates e uma ótima caçada de pombas. Um abraço
that 10:17 shot was just perfect!
I'm almost ready to buy another PCP and although I don't need it really for 12 ft lb use in the UK, the temptation to buy an FX is growing!
The tunability of the Maverick is just awesome. I;ve only had mine for a month and loving it. Even at at 12flb you will be amazed.
@@MrLangDog that is very kind of you - are you a pellet user or do the slug type projectiles make any sense at 12 ft lbs?
this concept can be précised to saving citizens.
Out standing shooting lads out standing
Excellent video, and the image quality is awesome!!! Thanks.
Lovely!!! a really cool video and superb shooting.

Its really amazing to see your high powered pcp rifle sir. Excellent performance.

Nice equipment and fantastic skills.
Love the intro feed lot cattle stuff, sorry can't help the comment as ex Agger and son of farmers LOL!
Those slugs it hard keep up great work
Nice shot sir 👍👍
New friend from Philippines 🇵🇭🙏
Good my brother 👍
Can anyone direct me to the video that discusses .217 vs .218 patriot lugs....
pay attention to the moment the shot hits the pigeon , you can see the projectile deflecting its trajectory after it has fixed the target
Can you switch to slugs without swapping your barrel out?
This is something I was wondering, too.
woooooohooooo....
my idola...
😁😁😁
thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with all of guys. we really appreciate what you guys do for this sport. amazing ambassadors
Thanks for your video Sir
Awesome video Matt! Will you be releasing .25 javelin slugs at any point? I can test them in the UK for you ;)
Me too.
It's a like!
Big fans ❤️..from Mizoram India
Brilliant as always
Whats the max and minimum power to shoot these slugs of yours.
Cheers
Best of luck with slug development
Both My impacts in the shop for repairs.

What a dream.
I was hunting pheasant while I was watching your video and about halfway through a flock of 20 landed 5 feet from my blind
Thank you for the info and video my question is how will these slugs work with a 25 avenger I am currently using the JSB 25.39 at 890 fps
Good Master . . 👍👍
I always enjoy your videos. Stay Safe. Stay Free. ⭐ 💪😇

with all due respect if you can make video content with caliber 177 Indonesian people will be very happy, because we use caliber 177 instead of 22
when are we going to see javelin slugs for .25 cal? great shoot though boys.
Good man
Can you shoot some sub 12ft/lb air rifles for us in the uk to show how capable they are
Nice video 👍👍👍
Very, Very Nice, bro hope that can I buy it soon

Matt, can you made a video just about the importance off zero check and why sometimes the zero change?
It’s called set your gun up correctly and it won’t!
