- A musician living in an apartment building likes to check out the residents of the building opposite him--until he finds out one day that an attractive woman in that building is checking him out. He strikes up a relationship with her. Soon afterwards a string of serial killings occurs in the neighborhood, and suspicion begins to fall on the musician.
Another superb performance by David Soul. An amazing, multi-talented, awesome, unique singer/songwriter, musician, actor/director, activist, humanitarian. This amazing SOUL(beautiful inside/out)left us with a wonderful legacy. God Blessed this SOUL with many gifts/talents. This film was a real surprise! At one time I actually thought he was the bad guy ! I’ve always liked Pam Dawber It had me on the edge of seat 😲
That damn thirsty ass cop Sgt. Scopetta wanted it to be him sooooo bad....until he and his asswipe partner were proven wrong ! It's almost always the one who's the most trusted and respected who turns out to be the suspect

Who was that at the end? Was there another killer?
Well I think it was just to show that anyone can buy binoculars or a telescope and watch anyone. But to me, it also implied that literally anyone can be the next victim. I love when movies make visual suggestions like that....a really cool technique to keep the viewer wondering about different possibilities. GREAT movie ! I've seen it several times and I always enjoy it more and more each time
I remember thinking that at the time too.
2:11 I HATE when people press the damn elevator button after its already been pressed. You pressing it a second time isn't making it come to the floor any quicker ! Pisses me off ! 😵💫😒😤
