MUSIC features interviews and performances from Joan Baez, Rhiannon Giddens, Director of the Count Basie Orchestra Scotty Barnhart, banjo master Tony Ellis, Los Angeles Philharmonic timpanist Joseph Pereira, and virtuoso ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro. Instrument makers featured are Martin Guitar, Hartel Banjos, Monette trumpets, Stelling banjos, and Kamaka ukuleles. PBS premiere: November 20, 2015.

The maker of the documentatry wasn't able to find a photo of the Kingston Trio to pay tribute to the Group who "saved" the Martin company in the early sixties. So soon they forget !.

"Too bad you're a Communist"! That's funny to me because I bought a Joan Baez LP around 1967, height of the Vietnam War. I was in high school and the clerk was a middle-aged man who said "She's a communist!" Even at that age I knew it was a stupid thing to say but I didn't say a word except mentally. I purchased many of her records and remember the Christmas one the most.
