- I've been suffering with dry Locs and needed to add some much needed moisture to my scalp. I started to use Aloe Vera Juice as a spray and the results was amazing!

I've been thinking I will loc my hair at some point. I locked my son's so I'm sure I'll get some good tips here. I've been so lazy lately of taking care of my hair. I'm definitely going to try this. I'm feeling challenged with all the tlc you're giving yours. Very clever of you to use the juice.

I have sisterlocks so have to be careful with what I put in mine to avoid buildup but I do have a poorly scalp, which needs moisture as well as my locs themselves.

I’m late. I have been trying to figure out which is better for my locs, aloe Vera made at home from the leaf or store bought juice? Like the lily of the desert. Any thoughts love?
To be honest I prefer to use the real plant when I have time to make it…..however the store bought one is just as good just watch out for the ingredients as some brands can be drying. The Lily of the dessert one was the best one I’ve used but I can’t seem to get hold of it again.

Can you mix aloe vera juice, rosewater, glycerine, vitamin E, and other oils all together in one spray bottle okay ?
Yes you can as long as you don’t leave it unused for a while. Keep connected will be uploading a video about how long to keep spray products. 😉
My scalp LOVES aloe vera gel. Feels really refreshing to my scalp. Oils of any kind do NOT.

@@mazznaturals no build up.. i spritz my hair with water with a little rosemary oil in it. I apply organic aloe vea gel to my scalp.

I don’t think it will do you any harm using it daily as long as you don’t use too much.

Oh I thought it might be a typo! No problem ☺️ when you say you don’t have edges is that through traction alopecia or through other means? Don’t cut your Locs until you explore other options. My edges got thin at a stage of my Loc journey I just stopped using certain products and changed my Loc care routine. I also stopped wearing tight styles. I also make sure my edges are well moisturised. I hope this helps.

@@mazznaturals Have you tried Vitamin Shop or Whole Foods? Also, would you recommend mixing rose water and aloe Vera juice? Rose water is expensive so I want to know if there’s a way to make it stretch.
