I grew up in Whitley Bay and from 18 went drinking there. The street you went down after getting your coffee used to be nearly all bars. You could honestly spend your whole night just on that one street. It was a great place in the mid 80s.
Whitley Bay nightlife was incredible back in the day, everyone had a great time, the locals, the stag and hen parties from all over the country all up for a fun night and you certainly got it. All the bars were great but Easy Street was the best! Memories 🤗🍻
Got over run with bachelor and hen party me being a local drinking down there since the 70 sands club eating in Alison restaurant gave it a wide berths in the late 80
Oh, is it still the same? I'm glad it kept the parties, most places have lost all drinking cultures except a couple of the big cities. I've never been I whitley bay after 6pm....wish I had been a few years back.
Hello mate, I use a 360 camera which stitches out anything where the stitch line is between the 2 lenses, so you can get drone shots and other mad effects during the editing, the new insta 360 X4 has just came out, so the older models will go down in price soon, I highly recommend getting one if you're into filming, loads of fun. Hope you're well, cheers for the comment
my mum banned me from going to whitley bay back in the day, it was the one place that she didnt think was safe and banned me on pain of Swift death if I went and she found out 😂😂😂😂😂😂. now it's absolutely beautiful and somewhere I could only dream of living. tend to spend alpt of time on a beach ,down at St Mary's lighthouse and eating but need to explore it more. have a good weekend fella!
Haha she may just have saved you.....from a really good time 😂 Nah, mothers do know best. Is St Mary's the one on the island? I took a wrong turn and ended up in this class little place a bit further north. Aye, come this summer, I think I'll be popping back to Whitley Bay a few more times, had a great little day out. Have a good weekend too Claire, Speak soon!
