The lack of urgency from the medical staff for Rebecka Vitesson is absolutely piss poor.
They entered immediately. Don’t be that mean.
@@cotenordthey didn’t, she was laying on the floor for half a minute. They got to her quicker the second time
shocking!!! How sad
@@cotenordit took them 1 minute 3 seconds to get to her. That’s absolutely abysmal. And to let her continue is absolutely maloractice.
I agree. That was just appalling! Off course the body, high on adrenaline will want to continue. She should have been attended in a much more proffessional matter the first time around. I feel so bad for her missing out on this season. Just love watching her kill it! She'll be back stronger then ever.
Lucy Campbell really did great on the commentary!!
So good!
Thanks for not showing the commentators... finally production listening to the audience
Gotta feel for Rebecca in this event.. terrible injury. she was absolutely destroying this event. Here's to a speedy recovery.
why the hell did they not take Vitesson out of the event immediately. Her reaction after the rope climb was entirely consistent with a blown ACL/MCL. Fitness and medical professionals should have been able to see that in the moment and should have known better than to let her carry on.
Agree to an extent, but if the athlete is of sound mind, (ie it isn’t a head injury or life threatening), then I don’t think you can force them to stop. If I were her coach I definitely would have stopped her.
Could easily have said the same about Roman at the games, but instead he's a hero. She knew what she was doing and the risks associated with carrying on. Damage was already done, likely not going to make it worse trying to carry on.
@@corinwharerau7560 yeah Roman honestly shouldn't have been allowed to carry on with the injury he sustained, and instead, like you said, he's a "hero" for continuing with an injury.
The best are the songs, The best playlist
Loved Lucy on the commentary! 😍
Loving Chase and Lucy on this, killin it!
Are you kidding me?!!that Rebecca chick was down for so long and NO ONE HELPED HER?! how in the actual fuck do these events not have a medical crew AT THE READY! what an absolute failure
Medical crew is provided by the venue not the event, hence why the staff took so long.. I'm more shocked they let her continue? surely they could have assessed that she had an ACL/MCL injury before she got back on the bike.
@@dutchstallion8518 I had no problem with how the situation was handled.. I like it has a sport and these things happen. Some true grit for her to try and carry on.
After the rope climb, it took them over a minute, not 32 seconds
@@dutchstallion8518 and it literally took over a minute for medical staff to even start approaching her after her collapse after the rope climb, which is absolutely fucking unacceptable. Her judge was frantically waving for help for A FULL FUCKING MINUTE.
I've no doubt Lucy Campbell will be back competing soon but until then more of her in the commentary box please! She did so well 👌🏻
Interesting that there was commentary for all the mens heats of event 2 but not for all of the women's heats.
It’s because Jonne was in Heat 1 and favoritism.
I think they usually do start commentary on the first heat of a day
Why isn’t this in the semi final playlist. It is way too difficult to find the events to watch!
Μπράβο ρε θηρία!! Δύναμη,μακαρι και στους τελικούς 🙌🙌💪💪
Massive improvement, great job crossfit!
You could have aired the ceremony live with close camera instead of ignoring it!
Just pray that one day movement standards especially for squats are actually enforced.
BEAUTIFUL, no more watching commentators 💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Great coverage!!
Thank god.
3-5 business days to get medical attention
horrific
Rebecka Vitesson is one of my favourite athletes - pleaaaase tell me she's okay!
Also why did it take so long for medical staff to come for her the first time? Her judge was waving for help immediately! I was absolutely furious watching her lying on the ground with no medical staff coming to check on her.
She's ok and already preparing the next competition
Eu gosto muito de assistir o crossfit eu táva esperando isso aqui ❤
Why no comments on the womens early heats, but on the mens! What do you call it, when you treat different groups of humans differently for no good reason? Just a question.
So how long do you need to be rolling around on the ground with a possibly damaged knee before medical assistance comes to help???
When in video it is shown that Laura Horvath completed event 3 in 11: 37, when on CrossFit website it shows 11:22 as completed time. Did I miss something in change of rules.
Her judge made her do an extra rep for no reason. I was in the arena
Didn’t she jump off the box at the end? So had to redo that last rep?
@@daveys1756 That makes no sense. As she was correctly no repped on rep 10 for jumping down. Even if she was not no repped there, she competed rep 10 after 11:22 so how can her score be changed to a time she couldn’t have possibly got even without the no rep?
I would guess actually, that they gave her the time back for the rope climb. It looks like she does get a finger on the bar and the rep should have counted. I imagine they gave her the 15 seconds back from that.
That Rope Climb was Legit that had to give her time back. Guaranteed Her team challenged IMMEDIATELY
Seriously, the music tho !!! Can anyone help with the playlist or find us the DJ? Shazam found non of the songs
This is it? No more individual events?
3 events tomorrow
Laura Horvarth second attempt (after the first no rep) at the rope climb should have been a NOREP, right? She strapped her legs around the rope before touchig the beam @hillerfit🦇🦇🦇
16 minute cap for Event 3 makes no sense at all. 12 minutes tops.
Why is there no rope climb at the end of the last round of event 3?
I'm guessing they just did it for "workout flow". Definitely doesn't match what was written, but you can think of the performed workout as "seven rounds of bike + BJO, and also every time you go past the rope you have to climb it".
