Would this be good for July 4th cook out?
Randy Ung Yes most definitely, you can also do chicken sticks. I just uploaded the video.
Hi Elissa. What would you suggest for the cooking wine substitute?
Try pineapple juice, onion, or ripe papaya. All of these will help tenderize the meat. Don't put too much or your meat will become mushy.
Can you use white sugar if you can’t get palm sugar?
Bwhat is the green ingredient in the bowl next to the honey ???
+Amarley Quaye It's curry paste, consist of lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and garlic.
what kind of curry paste?
Hi ming.. I was wondering how many cup of krueng you put into the bowl?
the krerng , it just lemongrass or you add something else ? it look so good.
soklim em Hi Soklim, the kreung consist of lemon grass, garlic, galangal, kaffir lime leafs, and turmeric powder.
Hi ming, where can I get that green ingredient? I believe you called it krung..
does it have to be rice cooking wine or I can use any kinds of cooking wine? white wine?
+Neary Khmer I'm not sure, I think it's about the same. The wine helps the meat to become tender.
Delicious
how many hour we have to marinate the beef?
overnight is the best at least 1 hour.

Seems like it'd be too sweet.. You used palm sugar and honey..
Actually it's not too sweet, because I used 6 pounds of meat. It has a nice balance. You may reduce the honey and sugar, if you don't like it sweet.
Ahh, ok
