Eventually, Deleuze explains his concept of the „body without organs“ (BwO) in comprehensible ways. He does not go again into Artaud and Carroll. Rather, he refers to Gilbert Simondon’s philosophy of individuation, Claude Bernard’s notion of „interior milieu“ and Francis Bacon’s synesthetic painting. In a controversial epilogue, Félix Guattari pays tribute to Andy Warhol, eating a “Burger with Onions” (BwO).
That plot twist at the end tho. I may now understand the Body whithout Organs, but at the cost of loosing future sleep over what Guattari meant by Burger with Onions...
Thank you for putting all the effort into making those videos! I really love them
thank you!
There are many perception examples of "crossing the wires"... Take how born blind people interpret Braille through their occipital lobe... This process causes them to both feel Braille but also read it "visually" even though they dont see. The reconfigured patterns are so different that it's impossible to try to understand how it feels as a sighted person. Interestingly both produce a function of reading
It was the most awasome thing I seen in Internet this week lmao.
Thanks for posting it, you guys own a viewer for the life.
Thx!
I don't know if I can claim to fully grasp the BwO, but this is the closest I've gotten to understanding it yet!
thx!
watching / hearing / touching / smelling at 1am on a sunday and can feel myself entering the smooth space - thank you theoretical pundit puppet deleuze

Awesome ❤️👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
Thank you for these amazing videos
This is so funny and brilliant. I just loved :-) Can't stop smiling about these videos.
Thank you!!
Isnt it the space that which makes it possible to be?
This is great, thank you
Thank you 😀!
All in one day, I study the foreground against the background, a body without organs and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche's brain without thinking; a good day in whole.
Are these videos based on interviews. Really interesting.
Incredible
Gilles, could you cite that passage in Simondon?
You find the references in the subtitles.
I love this
thank you!
Can I share a fleeting thought of mine? Here it is... it seems like you're talking about Aristotle's matter and form, Gilles! I hope you won't hate me too much for saying that :D
well, you know, it is meant to be against this old hylemorphism...
@@theoreticalpuppets Come on, let me mess with Gilles a bit.
Ok. Go ahead!
Merci, merci ! Épatant.
Great!
Thx!
Thank you for the video!! But please, do not associate Guattari with having meat. This is a gross contradiction.
It's an egg, duh.
In all seriousness though, I understand the bwo as the virtual plane desiring machines attach themselves around in forming entities.
