I went shopping at Robinsons Supermarket in the Robinsons Galleria Mall in Ortigas neighborhood. It was cool to see so many American brands. Did the prices of any of the items I bought surprise you?

My times have changed. I first visited a grocery store in Manila 12 years ago and pulled out my camera to take a picture of A1 Sauce for a friend. Was shocked to see a U.S. brand. The nice security guard with the gun told me no pictures. haha. Now you were able to tour the store with your Go Pro rolling.
Wow! That grocery store is better stocked than any near my home in the US southeast!
Nice store. Thanks for taking us along ❤😊
Thanks for taking us along to your grocery haul - nice store! Other than the milk, everything else was quite a bit cheaper than in NorCal (Bay Area) supermarket!
what a variety! Thanks for sharing.
Robinson's Supermarket!! Wonder if I can get a "family" discount when I'm in the Philippines next May?! 😂
And everything is in English! 🤯 Except for the low ceilings I would have guessed you were back in the U.S.
Nice video allie....hope you'll be enjoying your trip in the Philippines
Those prices are very cheap compared to USA. Good job. Fruit and milk is about the same
That grocery store is amazing.
That store is huge. I love grocery shopping and price comparing.🤣
Yes- a very clean looking store-❤
Fresh produce in that grocery store is more expensive than other stores.
Oh that milk brand you bought was so expensive. Other brands are cheaper.
Could not see actual prices. To much moving of camera and few stops to zero in on what things cost. What I could see is the store is big and clean, but that is about it.
The mangoes and eggs were very inexpensive; the eggs were about $1.75 usd. 6-Mexican mangoes in a box at Costco is $9.99 compared to my family's supermarket{LOL} which is under $3.60 at #Robinson's.
The irony is while I was watching this video my husband said "Please Buy Me Some Moangoes Today At Costco!" I replied, "Can't Afford It!" He said, "I Will Give You The Money!" I showed him this video and he said,"You Want Me to Get On A Plane To Go Get It!? Guess what? I told him I am going to buy your #Bundle since we will be retired in less than 2 years and I want to visit these place-especially to #Malysia for medical tourism.
How much were the blueberries?
I am surprised to see all signs were in English. hugs
Skippy is my favorite from childhood. How much is it? Always enjoy your videos.
I think it was nearly $2 for that jar.
@@travelasiawithallie great price!
Being a former U.S. colony, is there any interesting American food that remains popular in the Philippines? Like Spam is in Hawaii.
Spam, Jif/Skippy PB, Hershey’s Chocolate, CoffeeMate, any name brand instant US Coffee.
