Preparation time - 40 minutes
Ingredients:
Rice Flour -1 cup
Water -1.5 cup
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp (optional )
Fresh coconut (grated)- 1/2 cup
Jagerry (grated) - 1/ cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

Hi Kabita , you mentioned to add 1.5 cups of water in parts in 1 cup rice flour but you have added 1/2 cup first and then 1/4 cup twice which adds upto 1 cup . can you please clarify if the total water to be added is 1 cup or 1.5 cups . Thanks
Hey Gourav.. you are right.. I have used 1 cup of water but by mistake I said 1.5 cup.. rice flour ke measurement se confuse ho gai bolne mei 😞

Modak is just like Puli pithe of Bengal. Only It looks different. ❤️
You have written 1&1/2 cup water to 1 cup rice flour, I used this same quantity measurement and my dough came out super soft and perfect. In your written measurement too you have mentioned 1 & 1/2 cup water for 1 cup rice flour, but only while preparing the modak you used 1/2 cup water first then 1/4 cup water twice. But anyways I am happy because first time in my life, I tried modak and they have come out so well. Thanks dear kabita 😊
