I'm proud of your bravery to tell your story. My inspiration to start my channel was from seeing other disabled booktubers. This is a great community for support.
Emily my heart was breaking for you and cheering for you at the same time. I’ve been watching you for a while on Booktube and always thought you were so fun and positive. I’m so grateful for this video because you’ve proved how amazing a person can be in spite of, and even because of, trauma and disabilities. This video inspires me. ❤❤❤
Oh that is so lovely of you thank you ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve always been determined not to let my disabilities stop me and be a good advocate for the disabled community
Your story is very moving, you have come through a terrible ordeal. You are so right in saying how important the people around you are, be they family, friends, work colleagues or neighbours. You can't see a person's story by looking at them, be they the carer or person suffering, physically or mentally. Your message is so important - just be kind.
Thank you for telling your story. You are an inspiration to others. Keep up the good work with your channel. You bring so much joy with your videos with your reading and determination to live your life with health issues that would have beaten others . Remember, you are a star, Emily. Sending ❤ and a hug to you, I know making this video must not have been easy.
It was a really hard video to make but one I felt I needed to do. I’m so determined to help others and I’m glad this will remind people to get help and support ❤️
What an emotional roller coaster of a video - and that was just me watching it; I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you to basically relive those traumas from over the years. I'm sure, though, that anyone who suffers from chronic conditions (and that's a lot of us) will have been encouraged by your absolute refusal to let your problems get the better of you. Your kids are very lucky to have you as their Mum, and Chris is equally lucky to have you as a partner - may you all continue to support each other throughout many rewarding years to come. Oh and a big thumbs up as well to your sister Charlie, who clearly continues to be a very important part of your support network. Thanks for a very rewarding video to watch - very best wishes, Brian.
Thank you for sharing Emily. I have a congenital back condition which has caused nerve damage. I can’t feel my foot and get horrible nerve pain. But like you I haven’t let it stop me. This week I went to Disneyland Paris and walked for miles around the parks. Yes, I’m suffering for it now but it’s worth it to live life to the full. Don’t give up my love, you are helping so many people by sharing your story. You are braver than you think! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You have been through so much and you are so strong. So glad you kept going, you will mean the world to your kids and they will see how brilliant you are every day. (Also I agree your sister is amazing, truly one of the loveliest people ever)
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I had a torn retina and 2 cataract operations. It's so scary to feel you are losing your eyesight. I have physical and mental disabilities and sometimes people don't understand that you can't do what you used to do. I honor your experiences. Much love and Aloha
Emily I commented on this two weeks ago but it somehow didn't save. I noticed when I came back to check something. I am so glad I discovered as I wouldn't want you to think I had not watched. You are an inspiration my dear.
I cried hearing your story. You should be proud of yourself. Sending warm thoughts and hugs.❤ 🎉
Oh sweetie I’m so sorry I made you cry. Sending hugs back ❤️
