- Last week we concluded our #scandinavia #overland trip with our #landrover #defender Albatross. We took the boat from #finland after two months on the road through #denmark #sweden and #norway. Arriving in #germany, we headed up to Hambourg to prepare Albo for the shipment at the end of the week. Cleaning, packing, fixing, a busy week for us. We are travelling on #rollonrolloff #roro because of the increase in price of #containers. In this episode we show you the preparation process. Soon Albo will be in Canada, in the meantime we will head back to #france for a different kind of experience. If you like the journey, don't miss what's coming up next!

Halifax is a very nice city and not too big, so fairly easy to navigate and the downtown area is very walkable.
Nova Scotia is very picturesque. Especially the south shore eg. Mahone Bay, Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg.
Cape Breton is very beautiful too.
Wherever you go in Canada I wish you both a safe and pleasant journey!

Have you created an ebook on tips and strategies for shipping your vehicle? Also it would be cool to have a resource for which countries require a - Carnet De Passages.
As an example, I've heard countries like Egypt requires one but they also require a huge deposit based on X value.
But you can pay a much smaller amount, sort of under the table.
We are building our expedition truck to first cruise around Florida, the USA then the coastline of Europe to Turkey, then Southern Africa, and Australia. Possibly The Philippines since it hasn't been done so much.
Great project, we have videos talking about our shipments and we give more details on Patreon directly in writing. As for the carnet de passage for now we don't need it (in the americas) but there are websites that are already tracking this kind of info and keeping it up to date like the Overland Association one. overlandingassociation.org/carnet-de-passage/

Funny that's what I'm doing as soon as my landy set off on the ship from the UK I'm booking the flight over to Halifax to get there the day after of on the same day.
Yeah good idea, and actually you can come on the same day cause anyways you will need to wait 48 hours impossible to get it before for us anyways.

I had watched some (all probably) of your Canada/Alaska videos because of connection to Eva. I decided to watch some of your earlier videos and saw the 2 Norway episodes. Those were the best videos of Norway I have ever seen - couldn't have been better even if Nat Geo had done it. But, Nick please don't let Mathilde get that close to those cliff edges again. That scared me. And please, be careful going through Mexico. Hate to say it but that scares me too.
