The Fijians are among Polynesia's finest Physical specimins of mankind, Naturally born for contact Sport like Rugby. Not only Huge in Size Alone but many are as fast as the Wind . The only Fault I could (in the past ) Possibly Question is their Tackling Technique. But then again I Don't think I would be to Keen on,doing a Flying Spear Tackle in Fiji.I have heard that in their Island Paradise's Rugby Grounds are so dry that its Apparently like running out to play on Concrete. Yes they could quite possibly win the Rugby World Cup if they had half the Financial Support of other Rugby playing Çountries.

That was still the black years for France when pretty much any rugby team could beat us and I mean, any. During those years, in 6 nations, Italy was always like "at the minimum we can beat France" lol. Hey, we might be going back to the same situation now.
I don’t think it going too be like that now, the france’s 15 are in trouble because all the main players is really tired and use by the world cup, the championship also the new staff and the multiple injury are a source of trouble but france have great young players !!!

The reverse was also true. Before France became consistently good in the 2020-2023 cycle, we never knew which French team will show up until we play them. My experience growing up was that Les Bleus have 2 game modes: 1) moments of flair but overall aimless, or 2) beat the All Blacks.

@archvermin I know what you mean but this was before 2012. Like in 1999 semi, nobody gave them a chance but I knew they could perhaps find their rugby again and do something amazing and they did. On the other hand, in 2015, I knew they had nothing, there was no possible upset, only defeat and defeat they got. That's why I call this the black years, they had nothing.
Italy almost beat France this year. If you're downplaying Fiji's strength in rugby I dare you play a team for Fiji. Even a club team. You wont survive it

Fijians initiate the contact rather than get hit. Lomu was the Master. Defenders have to beat them to it which is easy. Stay lower than him because you want the initial contact to be in an upward direction. This halves his weight. From the diaphragm up he weighs a third of his weight. You're aiming for that area. The secret is to keep your eyes on him before during and after the contact. You want him to see you watching him close his eyes before you send him to lala land. Watch everyone they beat. They aren't paying attention.

@@jikacemo It was a weird period for french rugby, France's national team was a way for a french crook (Bernard Laporte) to manipulate the french championship.
Always calling most of the players from the same team to break them for example. Winning anything was not the goal.
the word destroyed most likely is referring to the big hits on display in the video but don't worry mate, your beloved France is still one of the best teams in the world and us Fijians are just grateful to see our team doing well against tier 1 nations like you guys, hope you can just give credit where it is due while supporting your team
@@Yasuke1998 I didn't say Fidji was a bad team. To my opinion, it is the best of the "small" teams, (not tier 1).
Maybe Scotland is better in this moment.But I don't know if they are just in a good moment, or if they are becoming a big team.
