Don't ever lose your quirkiness! It's often a characteristic of very creative people and it's really quite charming. Great work on the bulldog! You really give them a presence with the expressions you build into their faces! Since you're relatively new at this and, to me seem so adept at already, do you surprise yourself often with what you can do? Lots of natural talent coming through, great to see Taylor!
You are too kind! It's fun to be silly, I find many people take life a bit too serious! I always surprise myself haha, I often say I swear the carvings carve themselves to some extent! The key is to just be confident you will find a way and trust the process! The absolute worst thing that happens is I make some funky looking fire wood and try again! Just can't be afraid to try! I hope to never get too comfortable and continue to grow as an artist for as long as I can hold a saw up ❤️
Fantastic work, given me alot of inspiration with carving, only 4 month into it but its great to see techniques bring life to the carvings, just finished a 6ft trunk with twin owls and an inlayed fox inside keep up the great work
Thank you friend! This was definitely a tough one for me, French bulldogs throw normal body proportions out the window, they have their own unique style 😂
TayMarie in just a few short months that you’ve been chainsaw carving, you have become a artistic master in this art form. Your excellent with the electric chainsaw and should consider a gas saw only for blocking out the bigger chunks. That pup carving was AMAZING and Nami looks right at home already. At a -6 your sure dedicated to your passion I’d say. Does the propane heater help at all at that temperature? I do like the fur hoodie it does accentuates your beautiful smile and face, which yay I got to see a little more of thank goodness! I have more questions I like to ask, but I’ve gone to long already so I’ll just say thank you for sharing, stay safe and your AMAZING!!! ☺️💛
Aww I greatly appreciate that Larry! My plan is exactly that, use gas for blocking and electric for detail! I love how light my little saw is, it lets me work longer days :) The cold isn’t so bad once you get started! But my heater doesn’t work, it never worked out of the box so I can’t tell you if it’s helps just yet haha! Because I couldn’t get the heater to work I never bothered putting a front/doors on my little carving shelter since the sun is so nice and warm! But my replacement heater finally came last Friday! I might set it up tomorrow! I need the heat more so for finishing projects, the oils and varnishes don’t dry well in the cold! Nami is definitely home 🥰🧡
@@TayMarie23 I just signed up as a Patreon monthly. So excited to help you achieve your dreams TayMarie. Your AMAZING!!! Hoping your new heater does the trick. One of my other questions was regarding your finishes in the cold. Now as a Patreon I can communicate a little more freely rather than just through comments on UA-cam. Have a fantastic week cutie! 🤗💛
Hey Tay - great work as usual. I wish i had a fraction of the artistic ability you have! lol. Your increased skills and comfort level show with each new project. Keep up the great work! 😄
Just amazing TM. Great work. Sorry. Another question. What is the cutting tool you use to cut and burn the eyes? Hi Nami! Your looking like a happy pupper! Thumbs up and subscribe everyone!! 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Keegan for all the support :) I use the Manpatools concave eye cutter bits with the 1/4” shaft for my die grinder! They come as individuals as well as a kit of 8 different sizes (that’s what I got)! They aren’t cheap but they are super handy :)
I don’t know why this comment made me laugh so hard lol! I’m so annoying about that, I’m so sorry 😂 When you live in a place like Maine weather is just something you talk about a lot! But I have no idea why I feel so inclined to always announce it in my videos though🤦🏼♀️🤣
@@TayMarie23 haha, thats fine. i didnt even notice you announced it a lot. just noticed the white and you wrapped up like an eskimo..lol. Im from Wales UK, and the weather is always a topic of conversation over here to..ha.
We just had a massive cold front come though! There where two days that were -18F but felt like -45F with wind chill! And I’m not exaggerating, there were warning signs all over the highways and business were closed! It was painfully cold! But it was 40F today and I was in a hoodie…I don’t get it lol! Wow Wales huh? Definitely a place on my bucket list to visit!
@@TayMarie23 Damn, that is mad, Never realised Maine was so cold. i can imagin e it being cold, but not that much in winter. Hha, weird weather right. Damn, im impressed you know it, i had to put UK as most people in US just think England is UK. and exclude Scotland and wales. Well if you do, let me know. I can give you tips and some pointers. (not on carving though, your way better than me on that front) ha
I backpacked across England and Ireland many years ago and what an experience that was! I’m eager to get back to explore more of the UK as well as norther Europe! If I do get over there I want to see some chainsaw competitions, there is soooo much talent in the UK!!
@@TayMarie23 No i meant "you" as in any person, not litterally you :), sorry i probably wrote it wrong 😬. . I seen other people use it, its called a manpa belt cutter (just looked it up) its pretty cool tool.

The first video with Nami in it! What a cute and smart puppy.

Sounds like an awesome carving! Keep it up, if you continue to push yourself and learn you will be surprised at how fast you can grow as a carver :)
You always amaze me! Beautiful!
Another beautiful piece of art!
Thank you thank you 😁 Was a challenging yet rewarding carve for sure! Can’t wait for the customer to see it!
@TayMarie it was boo-boo cold here in Minnesota last couple of weeks also, 35 today woohoo!
I think we will hit about 35-40 here today as well! I’m so excited for spring 😂
Amazing... You are so talented!!
Thank you! Cheers! 🐶
You need to one day carve your little pup if you haven't already!!
I definitely will some day! I want to get even better at dogs before I try carving her! My little Nami girl 💛

p,s, What are the eye burrs you use?
Manpatools concave eye cutters, I got their 8 piece variety pack 😉
@@TayMarie23 Ah great, yeah you need different sizes all right, Manpa tools sell that wheel cutter you attach to a grinder to right?
Are you talking about what I textured the pup with or…? I’m still learning all the tools and terminology myself 😂

Yes yes my bad 😂 I follow Manpatools on Instagram and watching them use that thing is unbelievably satisfying! Looks super useful too!
