The storylines, singing, dancing, and the mix of different races of the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds were freaking awesome; and they canceled it because Paramount + and Showtime are merging!? Are they nuts!? The show is a mega hit!! We need to know why Jane left Zuko and moved to California!! If Netflix won't take, maybe Peacock or Hulu will...fingers and toes crossed!!
It’s so heartwarming that all the pink ladies stood by Olivia and that Nancy slapped the teacher and called him out. “She is a child.” Perfect moment and another great storyline amongst the pink ladies. In grease they didn’t elaborate on how the pink ladies and the T birds knew one another and all of this makes more sense to the bigger picture.
I think its just as simple as Cynthia was already friends and trying to be a t bird before the show and then Olivia is Richie's sister and Nancy and Jane didn't know them before hand
Yes all the pink ladies did amazing in the episode when Nancy slapped Chris in the face it reminds me a lifetime movie that I watched. In the Original grease the pink lady’s every to that for one another. In Grease two they did. I hate to say this grease two and grease rise of the pink lady’s is the greatest ever. Because in the original grease they are older now and they moved on some actor and actress died now in Grease there legacy will ever be forgotten

I’m so mad they canceled this show. I was only on episode 7 when they canceled it out of no where. The pink ladies pledge was my favorite part of the first song in the second movie. I’m so happy they brought it back.

What I mostly love about the Pink Ladies pledge is that as cliché and superficial as it seems to be it is actually quite meaningful. Cool = different. It is OK to be yourself, different whether it is about your look, the way you act, and who you are.
I loved that they did the Danny and Sandy stair dance for a split second on the Shake Shack! Total chills with the magic of Grease and Grease 2 captured perfectly TOGETHER in one scene. Season 2 please!!!!

@@RetroGirl1967 I'm really hoping we get a renewal notice too. This show is its own genre at the moment, so P+ would be irrational to not invest more. I know it hasn't been super hyped but 95% of the comments I've seen are positive. As for the Hazel/ Wally/ Buddy situation, I feel that since Buddy ran away from home and decided to make his own way, there's a good chance he'll end up with the T-Birds, or at least be more friendly with them. And that will give him a chance to spend more time with Hazel. I'm also wondering whether Hazel & Wally will return to their talk about the other people expecting them to be together just because of their skin color. On the other hand, Hazel and Buddy being together would be a "rebellious move" for both of them. Not just because it's an interracial relationship but also because Hazel's parents will not be happy with her dating someone who left home etc.
@@Rosula_D I think initially Hazel and Wally were thrown together because of their skin color, but overtime got to know and like each other. He genuinely wanted to go to the dance with her. They shared an outlook at one point. Once the fight at the Frosty Palace got out of hand, they both were eager to leave quickly. I love part of the season 2 story-arc (if get get one and I desperately hope we do) being Buddy, now on his own, growing closer to the T-Birds, even though I don't see him actually going so far as to join the gang.

Everyone is talking about Jane and Richie (which I totally agree with) but I can’t wait to see what happens with Gil and Olivia. But more importantly, I think it will be sweet to see her just enjoying high school for a change!
I loved this show so much, it hurts that it's being taken away entirely! I was so excited for more of this amazing show, and was looking forward to more of it. Wonder if the topics hit too close to home for a few too many, and that got it pulled the way it is. No other reason for the entire removal of it from streaming.

What I love is that while it is a nod to the movie, the Pink Ladies are together. It's Jane with the other Pink Ladies, as opposed to Jane with Richie, because her friendship with the other Pink Ladies is more important/more central to this series than her relationship with a boy, and I love that this moment perfectly encapsulates and showcases that. In this series, all of the Pink Ladies are central, not supporting players to a love story, which is the way it should be.

I love both Grease and Grease 2, I really love this series, it's really heart warming of how everything began. In Grease 2, I remember one of the girls says "they are T-birds' chicks till grad". However, I love how in this one it shows that they were more than that, they were their own group and didn't need the T-birds. The T-birds helped them when they needed help, but the girls did their own things and solved their own problems without the T-birds. Plus I love Cynthia and her story of wanting to be a T-bird but became a founder for the Pink Ladies instead.

This is such a great show and left off on a cliffhanger which makes me all the more disappointed. We won't meet Frankie Zuko, therefore we won't be meeting a young Danny. We won't know if Richie and Jane would ever have ended up together and I was really starting to love Gil, so no Gil and Olivia. And what's worse it was completely removed from the platform all together. Like, why? I kind of wish they had given it a proper end with the hope of a new season..
