1. Santorini (0:36)
Santorini is definitely one of the most visited places in Greece thanks to the infamous whitewashed buildings of Eeya, which spill down the cliffs off the northwest side of the island.

2. Crete (1:29)
Crete is another one of Greece’s most popular islands, and for good reason.
At over 95 kilometres wide, Crete is the countries largest island, so it’s no surprise that there is a lot to do here.
If you’re heading to Greece, Crete should be on your itinerary for sure.
3. Corfu (2:26)
A Lush interior, pristine coastline, unique rock formations and a romantic capital city make this one of the most breathtaking islands in the Archipelago.
I recommend renting a boat while you’re in Corfu. It will cost you around €80 per day plus gas, but you don’t need a boat license and you can rip around to different hidden coves and bays to have a slice of paradise to yourself.
4. Zakynthos (3:16)
Number 4 on this list of the best places to visit in Greece is Zakynthos.
Many travellers from the UK and parts of Europe have already discovered this Ionian beauty, which lies west of mainland Greece, but for North Americans and travellers from other parts of the world, this could be the first time you’re hearing about it.

I was in the Navy and I was stationed there for a couple years I lived in Greece for 5 years all together and I've been to all the places that you mentioned and Greece is my favorite place in the whole world as well. Hi. If you have 10-12 days what cities would you go to in Greece and how many days would you spend in each? Thank you
Hmm... in 10-12 days I'd probably land and spend a day in Athens, then head out to the islands. Ionian islands might be best on the shorter timeframe with 3 days in each Zakynthos, Corfu and Kefalonia. It's a little bit lesser visited than the duo of Santorini & Crete, with Zante, Corfu and Kefalonia being smaller than crete and easier to manage.

The best option is to land preferrably in Athens, stay there for 3 days then select an island or two to stay for 3-4 days each. Let me give you my top 5 list of islands unsorted:
Kefalonia, Crete(Chania), Syros, Kos, Lefkada. I hope I helped you.
Lovely video! However. Crete is not 95 km wide. It's 270 km wide and 65km from north to south at widest point. The second largest island is Evia which is 170 km in length. Also not to forget, Greece has an incredible mainland with 80% mountains. Yes. These 10 places are so beautiful. But the people who made this video do not know all the other 6000 islands and the mainland. Greece's Epirus region, or Tzoumerka mountains, or Pindus mountains region, or Central Greece, or West Greece, or Rhodope mountains, or Macedonia province, or Halkidiki, or Peloponesos, or the second biggest island of Evia and so on and so on are all so gorgeous. Or Milos island with its incredible soil/stone colors of all kinds and is basically a geological paradise. But in any case. No matter. This video is stunning and these 10 places are highly recommendable. Im just saying that all of Greece is highly recommendable. Many places are simply still unknown to many travelers. And those travelers who do visit Greece always recommend the many places they actually went to, but don't know that many of the endless other places and gems are special too.
