Beautiful work! As has already been mentioned, I didn't like the bubbletop Spitfire at first, but they're really growing on me, particularly these Mk. XVIe, find her really attractive these days! I grew up with Heller back in the 70's and early 80's, together with Airfix, Matchbox, Esci, Italeri, some of the Heller boxarts are absolutely stunning, still pick up some of their old kits today, just for the boxart and nostalgia if building them again! Their LEO 451 and Nieuport-Delage NI-D 622 (over Paris) are two favourites....
hello and thank you for your nice comment. As you guessed, Heller remains my favorite brand because it reminds me of my youth and those models I bought with a few coins at the corner store!
@@stephanedavid3421 You're very much welcome my friend! Same here! I'm sure that I'll be buying many more Heller kits, some that I built as a kid, or wanted back then but never bought.... I just picked up an old Heller catalogue from 1977, when I was 8, I'm looking forward to get it!
I know that a lot of Spitfire enthusiats don't really like this later version with the bubble canopy, as it reminds them of a P-51 more than a Spitfire. But I still think that this is a beautiful looking airplane. And I really like the Silver that you used. I've never seen the cockpit of this kit before, and it's interesting to see how Heller designed it. Brilliant work again Stephane. I'm build 2 Spitfire at the moment, and after watching this video I wish the glue and filler was dry so I could work on them some more :D
As always, I am very honored to read your comments. I loved building this spitfire for the second time. It is a good model despite his age. Thank you again for your valuable comments and look forward to watching a new video on your channel
Dziękuję drogi przyjacielu, to prawdziwa przyjemność przeczytać Twój komentarz!
What you do with these old kits is amazing!
Thanks a lot Eric.

@@Duececoupe Thank you, today the model makers have gotten used to the ease. When I build a recent model, I feel like I'm on vacation!
Not a Spitfire fan but the clipped winged bubble canopy Spit looks cool. Well tidy build.
For the Spit is not the most beautiful fighter of ww2. But this one is very agressive.

These old sets are still good when they are in the hands of good modelers! Excellent work!
Thanks for your nice compliment mate. Your last videos made my day ;-) See you soon on your channel!
Remarkable job Stéphane 👏

Ah, 'Monsieur Heller', you've built a worthy companion to your XVI in camo dress!
