Can you talk about hpv infection in the throat please?
Men and HPV; Can semen be tested for Hpv? Which test can men use for testing for Hpv..?
How to treat papilloma in throat
Get vaccinated, don't catch HIV, and try taking vitamin d3 10000
Doc.nick how to treated I have cin3
what about oral hpv?
I have red blisters above my butt is that anal hpv? I've already been tested positive for vaginal hpv
I am homosexual man with High Grade AIN-3 dysplasia just at age 27. They found high risk HPV strains in biopsies but they say it's group of different high risk strains! Surprising thing is I always used condoms and I became sexually active just 10 months ago and I got HPV and it already turned to AIN 3 so fast!! Everything is so fast that my proctologist is also surprised... I am not immunocompromised also still...!! I am going for HRA next month and after that every 3 months pap smear
Now my infectiologist asked me for Gardcil 9 at age of 27 after getting HPV because CDC recommends until age 45 but I am not sure if it will help me in future or not
Hey Manthan.i need to talk to u how many sexual partners did u have total???
damn that sucks hope it gets better dude
Get vaccinated, don't catch HIV, and take vitamin d3 10000 daily.
Any update ?
I keep getting tested every three months by my proctologist and still HPV is there with transition zone present in report but it's not completely back to normal nor converted to cancer
Dear dr
I have vaginal hpv 16 and after biopsy dr said you just have at 12 oclock cin1.I am worry about oral hpv. I dont have any warts in my mouth.I eat plant based diet.what else I shoud do?
I have high grade 16 hpv had CIN3 which lead to a full hysterectomy at 31 but since then I had a severe constant itch it’s so bad it’s all over my vulva and anal area my anal area will double in size it’s horrible they biopsied my vulva area and found VIN2 my old oncologist refused to biopsy my anal area thank god I got a new doctor and oncologist and have a full anal and vulva biopsy on the 18th
What’s the news of your vulva biopsy?
I have a persistent cervical hpv infection and I have anal itching I don’t know if it’s just haemorrhoids 🙈. I asked my doctor and she said it’s probably just parasites but there are little lumps so I don’t know and I’m worried that I have hpv there too. Would an infection in that area cause itching? I’m going to try and source your book.
Hemorrhoids and food sensitivities are likely. Anal HPV is not known for causing itching, but you should do an anal pap nonetheless.
Same
If I had squamous cell skin cancer caused by hpv one inch above my anal should I be worried about anal cancer
You should have an anal pap and HPV test.
What about AHCC?
For anal HPV? Yeah, I would use a mushroom extract blend most of the time.
Doctor I have a question
Can my AIN-3 dysplasia go away by it's own? My surgeon says I need fulguration, he refused for laser or tropical cream treatment.
For how many years I will have to keep giving pap smear samples again and again?!
What are percentage chances of turning AIN 3 to anal cancer? Can AIN stay same for whole life without intervention and not converting into anal cancer ?
How can I know if I have HPV in throat or on penis area? Because after getting AIN 3 in anus I am extremely worried of HPV in other body parts and probable cancer cells in future? Please reply
Manthan i have same issue man talk to me
My AIN 3 is going down now
I did fulguration and doctor took biopsies again
AIN is now low grade
I took 2 HPV vaccine so far
3 Rd at the end of 6 month
Now only regular pap smear
Which doctor u consulted for anal pap smear please tell me which area??
@@manthanpandya7501 i have all these same questions
Nikhat
For Pap smear I go to my proctologist
Any surgeon who is specialist of colorectal
I am in New Jersey US
My doctor is based here
I had a mass discovery on incidental CT scan and they said it was Vaginal. Having cancer 33 years ago and HPV positive, I was cured with surgery and early detection. My doctor has been confused as everyone else about the location of the mass. GYN felt it but didn't say where. Colonoscopy shows a mass of Hyperplastic Polyps. Anal pain and extreme difficulty with passing bowel movements for two years! Upon self examination last night, my anus is very hard, large and seemingly swollen. I go in for MRI in two days. It's been three months since discovering it on scan and so much confusion!
Hey Dr. Nick - thanks for the great info! I'm doing my research for a UA-cam video that I'll be coming out with soon about "anal pap smears". I've managed to piece through the literature on anal cytology with HPV screening, but there doesn't seem to be a full practice guideline that has been created on the topic.
Yeah, I don't think that there is, unfortunately. Worse than that, docs that should be aware of it, like GI docs, are sometimes oblivious. I had a patient in S. Africa attempt to have it performed and all of her doctors acted like she was nuts. Was like pulling teeth to get it done.
When getting blood work done what numbers should we may attention to? I always have my doctor look at my vitsmin D range...anything else I should pay attention to
Well, all of them. Although vitamin D is relevant to HPV. Homocysteine can also give a functional appraisal of B12 levels as well as methylation ability, which is also relevant to HPV.
@@DrNickTargetsHPV what about persistent reactive lymphocytosis in serum, typical of a viral infection? Reactive, as in elevated total and % resulting in less neutrophils % and total. Have you ever witnessed such cases?
I have cleard penile n anal hpv 4x time during 1 year .so how i prevent not to have hpv warts grow again i took meds and usseles they were
What is your anal HPV experience?
What kind of doctor should I see if I have recurring anal hpv?
Either a GI doc or proctologist. However, if there is no dysplasia they will probably not do anything.
Thank you!
I was high risk for anal cancer and told this to my gyneco and proctologist- their 2 Scheriproct and Proctosynalar N creams destroyed my anus with chemical burns , thinning skin and increased Anal cancer Risk!!!! I feel betrayed by medical community and my future is destroyed!!!!!
How was this possible?? I'm so sorry to Heard That. But what dou you say? What did you have??
@@LauraConchitaHurtadoTorres its been 2 months since i stopped these substances- mental and physical symptoms are going strong... barely sleeping , anus is on fire ... at this point I am contemplating suicide daily
I have high risk HPV with cin 3 and 2. My doctor can only tell me that I don't have HPV 16 or 18/45 but cant say exactly what strain I do have. How can I find out the exact strain? and at my next pap should I get an anal pap test?
There isn't really any benefit to determining the strain, other than obsessing over it; it only matters that you clear whatever strain(s) you have. An anal pap is a good idea for anyone over thirty with cervicovaginal HPV/dysplasia.
@@DrNickTargetsHPV okay, thank you. I'm 33 so i'll ask for an anal pap during my follow up pap in six months.
Thank you for the information Dr. Leroy. What are the symptoms or anal dysplasia and how long does it take for it to become cancerous? And is it possible to develop anal dysplasia before cervical dysplasia if the infection has been persistent on the cervix?
There aren't any symptoms of anal dysplasia and it probably takes 10-30 years before it becomes malignant in most people. Although it's possible to have anal dysplasia before cervical dysplasia, it's probably not very common.
Dr. Nick Targets HPV... Can suppositories be used in the case of anal dysplasia? Is there a treatment similar to cervical eschoratics that can done?
@@gemk0058 Yes, suppositories are a good idea. I would do a combination of the green tea and curcumin ones. I've used escharotic treatment for anal dysplasia in a small number of cases--too small to say with any certainty the degree to which it is effective.
Very helpful information, Dr. Nick! If a heterosexual woman has cleared persistent cervical HPV via diet, supplements and escharotics and only has traditional intercourse, should that person still be screened for anal HPV?
Thank you Shelly! If she is healthy, probably not. However, a person can have different HPV strains vaginally and anally, so just clearing one area doesn't necessarily mean clearing both. Also, I think everyone should have an anal pap at fifty regardless of personal history.
Doc when a man has anal warts does that mean he had anal intercourse cause we in a relationship i got genital he has doc went to doc that said he has had anal sex.
No, not necessarily.
You don't understand how relieved I'm by your reply thank God cause it gave me sleepless nights. Thank you so much we looking forward to just curing that's why I'm here.
How can a male get tested for HPV?
My gyno said he won't do anal pap because I'm not a gay man even though I had cin3 did cone procedure 1 year later hpv 18 free but submucosal fibroids I had hysterectomy
Perhaps he should inform all of the not-a-gay-man women who have had anal cancer--which is about twice the number as men--that they didn't need an anal pap. I would follow the testing guideline that I outline in the video.
@@DrNickTargetsHPV thank you I'm searching for a dr that will test asap
So even do not have anal sex, still have the possibility of having anal hpv if I have cervical hpv?
Yes, that is correct.
