He was on the verge of turning 14 cause his Bday is in August a lot of these songs was recorded in 71 when he was still 13 but listen to the songs they recorded around mid to late 72 and early 73 you can definitely hear his voice changing
No comments? Well I'll be the first for the first time ever. I'm going through Michael Jackson's entire catalogue in chronological order, so thank you very much for uploading!
You're not the only one. I just went through his personal albums, for like the hundredth time, and now I'm going through the Jackson 5 albums, which I've never done before so it's exciting to find gems like this one.
What a soothing song.. loved it.. i love this version so much. And for my wonder, i feel an Indian style in this song.. especially the guitar (i hope) at the starting and it continuous along with the song. It is really magical. And also it gives a feel of hearing an Indian instrument called 'Sitar'.
I remember this song.
Short and sweet. Nice rendition; MJ and Jermaine are solid here.
This version is hot again ❤❤❤❤❤
Motown has a reputation of artists singing original hit songs .
It’s crazy that when this song was recorded he was 14. Most boys already have deep voices at his age and here he is hitting high notes. Wow 😩😻💛

And actually on some songs on this album you can hear his voice deepening and filling out. But you also still hear the high pitch

Jermaine held his own in the song...sang JJ
This Tempo is killing me. But at 1.25 speed this is the best version!
Holy crap, you are so right...I remember this when it came out and it definitely sounds better at 1.25...thanks!
