Thank you for showing us how to do this method of quilt as you go joining blocks. I did another method in the past and stopped because it didn't look good. I think your video step by step method twice is good for me. I am a visual learner. You are a good teacher.
Good morning ☕ 😊 Thank you! With you explaining as you go it's so much easier to grasp than when I watched the video you got pattern from. Couple things to do today but now that hubby's quilt is done I'll be starting this and with luck be caught up by next Wednesday 😅 I've zigzag batting together in the past but I'm going to try the fusible, I think I'll like it better, thank you for this tip! Have a great week, see you Friday 😊
I'm so happy I found your channel. Even though I've been quilting for a few years, you still provide an excellent review. I love to do QAYG! I use my walking foot most times but usually use a denim needle if using heavy cotton batting. Good job. I'm enjoying your channel.
I like the straight line quilting that you did in the sashing. I haven't even picked out the fabrics for my QAYG yet. I do plan to get started soon. I wanted to get an idea of how you were making the sashing before I committed. I am all in now . I just need to determine the size that I plan to make. Thanks for the great tutorial and tips❣️
I don’t blame you, I’ve definitely seen some joining methods that just looked too bulky. From all my research, I thought this one laid flat the best and blended in with the blocks nice and neat.
I didn’t mention that on this video since it won’t end up showing anywhere, I noticed in the video that sometimes I did and sometimes I didn’t. It DOES matter on the blocks though and I mentioned it in last Wednesday’s video.
This is one of the Best QAYG videos I have watched. I am a beginner quilter and I find this method a great way to make my projects. 😊
Wonderful! So happy you liked it ❤️

You’re welcome! I have felt the same about the QAYG methods I had seen before, but this one looks nice!
❤you are an amazing teacher thank you for taking the fear out of quilting as you go. I definitely see this in my future.
You can do it!
It was good to actually see this done, thanks!
I have watched several videos on Quilt as you go this is the first one I really got!!!😅thank you so much.
Great to hear!
Thank you for taking the time to make these tutorials, as a newbie to quilting, I struggle with sashing but, you made this look doable. 😍
Yes, it is very forgiving. Try it out!
I’m loving how this is coming together. Thanks Sheri!
Glad you like it!
Haven’t started because my sewing machines both needed service but I’m looking forward to getting started. Great tutorial.

You made it look so easy Thank you. Have you ever had one to come apart?
Not at all
What are you using to hold thread? I do not see on the machine’s spool.
I’m using a large cone spool of thread on a separate stand. It sits behind my machine.
